Lassim hovered above the village of Blazewind, his senses finely tuned, scouring the area for any remaining demons.
After two more hours of intense focus and searching the mountain paths, Lassim's [Spatial Vision] picked up faint, flickering distortions in the threads around the village's outskirts once more.
He immediately shifted his attention to the disturbances.
"[There's more of them nearby,]" he thought, tightening his grip on his halberd as he flew toward the disturbance. "[Three of them this time, scattered apart.]"
The closer he got, the stronger the abyssal energy sensation became. Just as before, the atmosphere shifted unnaturally—the wind fell silent, and the shadows deepened, twisting in ways that defied nature. But Lassim was ready this time.
His eyes glowed with the power of the void energy coursing through them, cutting through the blurry and distracting hallucinations as he quickly identified the locations of the demons.

Pretty fun seeing Lassim flex his muscles a bit with his divine mana. He’s really had to manage it after always terrifying others and not wanting to be so disturbing with it, but it’s great to see it use for a little bit. When it comes to protecting, he’s slowly really becoming that “Bastion” that the gods want him to be. his natural personality kind of favors it.
