Capítulo 176: Escape Attempt (1)

'I need to go, now. If I don't run today, I might not have a chance to escape.'

Seph's mind raced as she reached her hands out, softly touching the scarred skin of a test subject.

It had been twelve weeks since she arrived here.

Originally, she wanted to escape after just nine. A few weeks ago, though, a large group of cultists had come to the city. It was a group from up north, ones that had been fighting in Edain.

A number of them needed the treatment of a healer, so Seph almost constantly had company with her. 

If she tried to run then, she would've been noticed immediately and hunted down.

Furthermore, her mother had not come back with this team. If she had, Seph might've been able to avoid all of her troubles and leave without any danger.

She had finally just finished her work healing all of the cultists, and was now returning to helping Eugene with his experiments. Now, there was no one to keep her from running.
