Capítulo 64: Demogus Struggle

Anna took a deep breath and tried to think of something else to say. "I understand that you're in a difficult position, but I just want to know the truth about what happened to my brother," she said. "If you know anything that could help me, I would be forever grateful."

The maid hesitated for a moment before finally nodding her head. "There is something you should know," she said in a hushed voice. "My lady's sword was stolen about a year ago. She has been very upset about it ever since."

Anna's heart raced as she heard this. It was possible that the stolen sword was the one used in James's murder. If she could find out who stole it and when, she might be able to prove Landon's guilt.

"Thank you for telling me," Anna said, trying to sound grateful. "I won't forget your help."

Anna turned and quickly made her way back to her own chambers. She knew that she had a lot of work to do if she was going to find the truth about what happened to James and Eli.
