Capítulo 12: Leaving the town
A few days have passed since I escaped from my kidnapping, honestly what a ride that was. Never expected for that to happen. After that happened I decided not to look like a girl for the near future, can't let that kind of thing happen again.
Anyways my vigour and determination really skyrocketed after gaining sword intent, I seriously feel like I changed or more like something... core changed in me.
Before I tried to train in all aspects of my martial soul equally, after all jack of all trades, master of none but still better than a master of one. Now I'm completely focused on my sword intent, obsessed even.
Seeing it's power increase even just by 0,000001% gives me an inexplicable feeling, a new surge of determination overcomes me, It really gets me more and more immersed in my sword. Okay got that of my chest.
Honestly my sword intent is pretty weird, it's completely transparent. Not like invisible, in fact it's quite easy to spot. That's the weird part, now onto the understandable but still worth mentioning part. It's quite dull, hitting with it feels more like bashing something with a piece of wood.
I did after all attain it only recently and in a quite artificial manner. It can be improved by training after all, anyways that gives me a thing to do, and a goal to strive for. So it's all good.
Now that I think about it each weapon has its intent, doesn't it? Is that why most tool martial soul users in higher cultivation ranks, are stronger then beast martial soul users? Well it certainly is a part of that.
Now that I already told you my cultivation progress, it's time to move onto the next thing. First of all, that clothes which got stained by blood. Yea I threw them away, not worth spending time cleaning them. I just bought new ones later.
For the second thing, soon my new ride will arrive. That's right the time for them to come is today. Soon I will soon get ready, eat, take a bath and go talk to them. I should also probably start preparing my stuff for leaving today, since they will probably move tomorrow.
That's pretty much it for today's plans, it's about time I get to it then. I went to the bathroom to clean myself, and my clothes for the journey. It took me quite a bit of time to do that, eating and getting ready on the other hand went by quite fast.
During the time I was packing up for leave tomorrow, they already came. I just thought I can do it after I finish my work, it might even be better that way. After everything was done, I left my room to head for the traders.
As I was looking around the town looking for the head of the group, I noticed that there was quite a big number of members all around. This group seems to be quite big. I have no idea if that's a good thing or not, but I have no other alternatives currently.
After a bit of looking around I found a man giving out orders. I walked up to him and said
"Hello mister, are you the leader of this group" He turns to me and answers
"Why yes, I am. But what are you even doing here little... boy?" I ignore that pause at the end and continue talking.
"I heard you are going through some seaside town later on in your journey, so I want to join" I said fully serious.
"Now don't joke around lad, where are your parents even?"
"I'm not joking around, I'm sure I can be helpful, I'm a soul grandmaster" I say as two yellow soul rings rise up from my feet.
"You are a soul grandmaster?!" he says surprised.
"Yes, to be honest I'm on a task from my sect to temper myself outside, so I would really like it if you don't spread I was here. I can pay for the ride by the way" he seemed to be more convinced I need just one more push.
"Well..." he takes some time to think about it.
"Okay I can take you with us but it will cost you money" he continues.
"That's okay let us negotiate the price then" I tell him with a smile.
After some time we concluded the negotiation, it drained me quite a lot. I lost 25% of my money on this but it will be worth it.
Well I guess it's time to go back now, but what should I do then. I don't want to get sweaty, but training my sword really is tempting... NO! Snap out of it, you can't just throw everything else away. I should just cultivate my spiritual power this time, yes that's good lets go with it.
I went back to my room, and went back to meditating.
After a long time it was already the next day at late afternoon, nearly time for the departure. I opened my eyes and checked the system, it seems that my spiritual power got upgraded by one. I guess that is quite fast, considering how long it took others to reach spirit sea realm.
I got up and started preparing myself for leave, I bought a travellers cloak because I thought it was cool, it's made out of leather and I got it just for this journey. I quickly went to take my other stuff, mostly my bag I already packed everything up.
I took the keys to my room and as I left I closed the door behind me. When I head down I saw a familiar figure at the reception desk, it was the same lady that I got the room from. I leisurely go there place the keys on the desk and say.
"It was a pleasant stay in this inn, here are the keys I'm leaving today" before leaving her confused at the desk, I don't really want to talk to her.
Now that we are on our way to my new travelling companions I can brag about my purchases a bit. So I bought a rope, a flint, see I'm already learning from my mistakes. I also bought some dried food for the journey. That's it, I cannot be too wasteful with my money, I don't have any income after all.
Ok I seem to have reached them, I spot the person I talked with yesterday, so I come up to announce him of my presence.
"Hello there, I'm already all ready to go" I said to him as he noticed me.
"That's good you are just in time, we are about to move out in 10 minutes" He tells me.
"Is that so? You have quite a lot of carriages with you, I paid quite a lot to go with you so which one do I go to?" I ask him.
"Ah yes you did, see that one over there? Go to that one the person driving it already knows you are to go with him." He answered.
"Ok thanks" I say, as I go to where he pointed.
I enter it through the back there is already the driver at the front.
"I was told I'm supposed to go with you" I tell him to get his attention.
"That you do, go and have a sit we are about to go" He signals me to sit down.
I sit at the end of the carriage to have a look at the outside.
"Ok it's about time, move out everyone" I hear a shout signalling everyone to move.
Sure enough right after it the carriage started moving, as I was getting farther from the small town I looked back to engrave all the moments there in my memory. It was a quite a good town, even that accident allowed me to grow substantially.
We were getting farther and farther from it, soon it was barely visible yet I had a full display of its grandeur. I know it may sound silly but that is exactly how I feel, and I will remember my time here as a fond memory.
I lean back on my sit and relax myself, there is a long journey ahead of me from this point on, after all. With a small smile of excitement I close my eyes and bask in the sunlight going through to the carriage.
