Wren waved his hand, and another version of Lysander appeared. He wore the white jacket and multi-colored belt of an adherent belonging to the Core rather than the light blue of Logic. His long, dark hair was bound high on his head. Rowan gasped when he realized it wasn't Lysander, but a younger, softer version that could only be Sacha.
At first glance, they looked identical, but Rowan could see now that Sacha had a gentler mouth and thinner frame. The eyes were different as well, with Lysander's being a snowy-grey and Sacha's holding a hint of indigo.
"You dare to create an image of him? Haven't you done enough?" Lysander's voice tore through the illusion, shaking it with his released rage.
"Yes, I dare. It must be a heavy burden to think you know everything…let me relieve you of that weight," Wren said. A dozen other versions of Sacha flickered into existence, forming a circle around them.
I hope Wren and Lysander can move past their shared pain. Will Logic prevail, or will their dynamic take a turn for the worse? I’m sure Rowan’s heart is breaking right now.
