Capítulo 55: A RASH DECISION OF DEATH

ADRIANA'S POV

I don't know how long I was out again but I woke up to the sound of a groan.

My breathing became steady as I tried to open my eyes to see what was going on again when I felt someone tap my head.

Once.

Twice.

Then I jerked away, my vision still blurry as a whimper escaped my lips.

"Fuck…" I muttered trying to ignore the ache in my head.

"Adriana?" The voice of the man who had tied me up reached my ears but I didn't struggle against the ropes or show any sign of compliance. I was fucking tired already; my throat felt dry, my eyes were heavy with exhaustion, and my limbs ached badly.

"Tesoro?" A very familiar voice cut through the haze, and my eyes immediately shot open to see Vincenzo on his knees in front of me, his hand tied behind his back, but there was no ounce of fear in his expression, just pure, unadulterated concern and worry.

"Vincenzo?" I asked weakly, my voice cracking.
