"What the hell is this?" The words tumbled out of my mouth as soon as I stepped into the cabin where he had brought us after a gruesome and tiring 7-hour drive.

I had slept off 3 hours into the trip and now I woke up to this, my muscles aching badly and the sun beginning to dip beyond the horizon.

The ground was faintly covered in snow and there was nothing but trees about, I knew we were miles away from the city, and for a brief moment, I wondered if he had brought me here to reveal his true identity as a cannibal who would skin me alive and probably roast me over a fire.
