Capítulo 21: Lovey Dovey
"I'm sorry Papa but Mama needs to sleep in my room," Athanasia said while facing her father.
"...?" -Claude
Athanasia gently pushed her father outside of her room. "Go back to your castle and rest. Just come back here tomorrow. I've already ordered Lily to fetch Felix" The young teen immediately shut the door and turned her back.
'That's right. No wedding, no sharing room. I've decided that I could only have a sibling once they got married again' Athy thought 'I know that papa missed my mom but it's complicated now because of the situation. However, It's not like I would certainly separate them. It's not like I could do that.'
"You look serious, my Princess" Athanasia almost jump out of shock when Lucas appeared in the chair. He is sitting comfortably while gazing at Athanasia. "I pity your Dad. His daughter is restricting him to be with his lover"
A wicked smile appeared on his face. "You act like a Mother-In-Law"
Athanasia frowned at Lucas's remark especially when she remembered what had happened a while ago 'Calm down Athy. Calm down' she thought.
"Why are you here?" She asked with a frown. "Anyway, can you check my Dad? I want to know if he's already resting"
"I'll do that later, but for now. I want to discuss you something" Lucas's expression suddenly changed "Do you perhaps saw someone who looks like your father but with black hair?"
Athanasia's body stopped as soon as she heard him. "Yes," she immediately answered. She suddenly remembers the same question that Lucas asked her. "You already mentioned that a while ago, Why do you ask?"
"When did you saw him?"
"I saw someone with that description when I was with Jennette. I also saw him at the Duke Alpheus's residence" (I'm not sure anymore if that was the right term)
"Aerternitas..." Lucas said in a serious tone. 'That rascal... Does he plan to mess up with the imperial family?'
"Are you talking about the strongest emperor in history?" Athanasia asked. Lucas clicked his tongue when he heard that.
"Strongest in history?" How could be that brat be that powerful? "It's weird that it was recorded like that"
"Fine, fine. So what's with the black-haired man?" Athanasia asked
"There was a rat who came to my tower" Lucas suddenly spoke "I think it's him. If you ever saw that man again. Tell me and stay away from him."
"Why?"
"I think he's the one who put the curse on your father"
[Reminder (and Spoiler Alert): At this point, Athanasia still doesn't know that her Uncle is alive]
"W-what? Why would he even do that?!" Athanasia asked.
"Who knows?"
The man with black-colored hair appeared on Athanasia's mind. 'Even if it's not sure, I cannot ignore this information.'
'But if it's real then why would he do that? what will he gain? for fun?" She thought 'Perhaps he's daddy's enemy. Then why would the duke of Alpheus take him to their residency?...are they planning treason?'
"Lucas I want to confirm something about that man"
'Come to think of it... the man looks like daddy and it looks like he has some connection to the duke. The connection of the duke to the previous emperor is also connected to Jennette...' Athanasia snapped from her thoughts. 'If I would connect the dots. The man may be...'
'Connected to my uncle.'
Lucas glanced at Athanasia. "What is it?" He asked.
"I'm not yet sure if my hunch is correct, so I need your help" Athanasia replied to Lucas. "What if... this is also connected to the previous Emperor. It may absurd but what if... The previous Emperor is still alive?"
"You mean your dad's brother?"
"Yes." She said. She recalled the dream about what happened after the 'Lovely Princess' end. She also saw her father's brother. "Do you think it is possible?"
"Hmmm" Lucas rested his face on his palm. "Black magic." He said. "So you're thinking that your uncle is still alive... It can be possible" he continued. 'It may be the situation actually... especially with the help of the brat'
Lucas noticed that Athanasia fell into deep thought. He heaves out a sigh. "Don't worry I'll help you" He said.
"T-thank you. Anyway, Can you check on my dad?" Athanasia suddenly asked. Although Athy looked troubled from what she had known from the magician... her face became brighter when she mentioned her Dad.
Lucas's face became dumbfounded when he heard that.
He lays his back on the sofa. "Why don't you personally check on him?" He said. Athanasia's face became confused when the magician told her that.
'Fine, since about you're talking about your dad' he thought.
"Aren't you curious why your mom is not here and teasing you?" Lucas asked again.
Her eyes went wide when she realized that the magician is right.
Where's her Mama?!
She began to look around her room but she didn't saw any trace of her mama.
"What the... I was so preoccupied with my conversation with Lucas. I didn't notice that my mom is missing..." She whispered. Athanasia glanced at Lucas. "Where is she?"
"Veranda" The magician answered while smirking. "I think she's planning to elope with your dad"
NANI?!
"WHAT?" She reacted
'Good, she's now back to normal' Lucas thought.
"I'm kidding. I think your dad sneaked on your veranda after you chased him out. Your mom saw me appeared in your room, that's why she kept your father at the veranda." Lucas explained to the princess.
"You're talking about the impossible!" Athanasia said. Athanasia couldn't believe the magician's word.
It is impossible!
Her dad would not do that! Lucas must be lying or he's just teasing her.
"Stupid. It's not that impossible you know, Why don't you check it" He replied.
The princess's face became dumbfounded. Lucas wanted to laugh but he refrained himself from doing that.
"Why would daddy do such..." Athanasia stopped talking. 'Come to think of it, Lucas is right, It's not that impossible!' She mentally slapped her head. The princess glanced at the magician. 'Right, Let's see it'
"Remember not to ruin the moment" Lucas laughed as he disappeared from the air.
'ERR! THAT PUNK'!!! Athanasia thought while frowning.
Athy stands up to look for her mother. She went on her veranda and when she's ready to nag her parents.
but when she saw her father hugging her mother's back under the moonlight...
She retreated.
Why? Because that one was one of the most beautiful scenes that she'd ever seen. How could she ruin it?
"Daddy sneaked into my veranda" Athanasia sighed and turned her back. She clenched her fist in the air while doing the determination stance. "Fine, I'll let it slide."

Morning:
"Good morning! Sweety!" A sweet voice welcomed Athanasia when she woke up. "Are you hungry? I asked Lily to bring us breakfast" Diana said. The princess noticed that her mother's smile is extra brighter today.
Her eyes squinted while observing her mother's behavior. "Mama... did Papa seduced you last night?"
*COUGH! COUGH!*
"W-what? No! Of course not!" Diana answered her daughter, she's almost blushing.
She can still remember what her daughter told them yesterday. She just told her father not to seduce her!
Where did she get that attitude? from the parents of course.
Athanasia grins when she saw Diana's reaction.
"Okay. But last night I saw a lovey-dovey hugging under the moonlight" She said while trying to copy the tone that her mother uses when she's teasing her with Lucas. "Mama did you also saw them?"
Diana's face began to flush in red. She immediately remembered what happened last night!
Last night she thought Claude went back to his Castle to rest but she was shocked when she saw him on the veranda.
She tried to persuade the emperor to rest but he refused. She was about to ask help from her daughter but she saw Lucas appeared in her Daughter's room..,
She decided to just stay with Claude at the veranda while trying to hide the two teens conversing.
"I-I didn't *Cough* Oh right! Lily's not yet here! I wonder what's the food for our breakfast? haha," Diana awkwardly change the topic. "WOH! I'm hungry, You're hungry too right? Come on stand up and ready yourself while Lily's not yet here."
"Mama, you're face is red" Athanasia spoke.
"I--"
Diana was about to refute her daughter's word but a loud knock suddenly interrupted them. Lily entered with food inside the room. "Good morning princess and lady Diana. Here's your breakfast" Lilian said.
Diana noticed the plates and utensils. "Why did you bring an extra plate?" She asked in confusion.
Lily glanced at the door with hesitations. At the door, there was a two-person was standing. One with red hair and one with golden hair. The red-haired knight was shocked while staring at the mother and daughter pair.
'Eh?'
'EHH?'
"DADDY!" Athanasia suddenly ran to her father and hugged him. Her father hugged her back but when she noticed something her forehead wrinkled "Papa. What are you doing here?" she suddenly asked.
His lips turned into a smile. "Breakfast"
'EH? Dude this is not the dining hall!'
"Y-your Majesty! L-lady Diana?" The knight reacted but everybody ignored him. "How?..." Lilian heaves out a sigh as she signaled the knight to come with her.
"I'll explain it to you since you're his majesty's knight" Lilian mouthed as she turned to the emperor. "Pardon me, Your highness," she said.
The emperor gets what the maid means so he let her out with the knight.
Poor Felix, he's so late about the news.
'That two... they look like they're going on a date' Athanasia thought. She suddenly glanced at her mother. She noticed that her mom is still blushing. 'Hehe, I want to tease her more~'
"Papa I think I want to strengthen the security on my castle." Athanasia suddenly blurted out. Her father's face became serious when she mentioned that. "I think the security here is becoming more shallow"
"Did something happened?" Claude suddenly asked. Even Diana's attention was on her.
Athanasia began to act as if something really happened. "Yes... and I am really worried" her eyes suddenly look at the veranda. "Especially for Mama"
"Me?" Diana pointed at herself.
"Well. I think someone sneaked into the veranda last night..." Athanasia said with an INNOCENT EYES. "And he's hugging my mom's back"
