I encircled the main path towards the mine that Ruby sketched onto the board earlier. With the cave system having more branches than I was comfortable with, the necessity of a proper main convergence hub made it all the more necessary that we do this first one right.

"So we're gonna build this rail thing while you build this steam engine then?" Phillipe begrudgingly asked.

"That's the plan," I replied. "Ruby will supervise the rail building operations, seeing as she's currently the only person that knows these caves like the back of her hand. I'll try and make the engine build process to be as quick as possible so I can join the rail building team, but to be honest, I'll have to make sure that this thing won't explode on us after a few minutes of operation so I'm not really sure..."
