I felt myself getting lifted up somewhere as Lise asked me the universal question. It was sweet, if not disheartening to think that my little sister was stuck taking care of me again. Why the hell was I always getting into situations like these!?

"Yeah..." I nodded with a sigh. "Don't force me to bed again. I just woke up and I don't plan on sleeping just yet."

"But you just collapsed on us earlier," Lise insisted as she hopped up on the wagon with me. "Aren't you-"

"I'm fine." I cut my sister off, making her pout with worry as my gaze landed on the soft snow below. "I just... I don't want to waste more time..."
