Capítulo 36: It's Just Beyond Words

Zyla's head is buried between her legs with her back pressing lightly against the wall beside the door of the room.

It's been more than an hour now and Zadok is still in that room doing only What God Knows.

Zyla has been dosing for the past one hour in that same seated position. Her eyes gradually closes as the light of the world also becomes dark in her sight.

"Zyla?"

Zadok stares at her in complete shock. Has she been sitting here for the long time he spent in this room? And here he is, thinking no one is waiting.

Zyla doesn't reply and that sends the sleepy message to Zadok.

His eyes can't leave her white hair that's all over her shoulders now. He feels delighted having to see her wait for him even with the uncomfortable position she found herself in.

Gently and like the charming Prince that he is, he carries Zyla as a King would carry his Queen.
