The room was cold and dark as always, but this time it was much darker than usual. As if it was a bad omen that had fallen upon him.
"Robin" he called out to his sister, and when he received no answer he called her again.
Not being exposed somehow made his body tremble and fill with nerves. He began to search the house and when he saw no sign of his sister, he went to Professor Paula's house without finding any clue as to where his sister might be.
It was only a few words that Paula, the teacher, said that made her worry even more.
His sister had been thinking a lot about the operation today, in the morning she had told him about it. He didn't think it was as serious as it sounded. But that didn't seem to be the case.
He ran quickly towards the town hall, his legs felt heavy the more he ran.
He wasn't to be late, he couldn't let his own sister suffer.
