The ball's gentle whoosh through the net seemed to hang in the air like a challenge, as the hall fell silent for a few seconds before Patel and Darius broke the silence, their arms raised in victory as they gazed up at the scoreboard.

Then, in a burst of uncontainable joy, they slammed their chests together, their fists pounding out a rhythmic celebration. "Yeah, that's how you play ball!" Darius said, throwing his hands in the air, his gaze fixed on Tyze. Just then, Joe blew the whistle, as if he had just realized he was meant to when the ball went through the net

"Okay, that's a three-pointer for Darius and Patel," Joe said, as the scores appeared on the board immediately.
