Capítulo 39: Forest Dungeon Part 3: Individual Plans
Immediately Siverra knew what he had to do. He only recently met Garcis and he'd been a huge help to Siverra, but with these gloves... and he couldn't exactly trust Garcis either!
Siverra paused for a short moment unknown what to say until he finally decided that he would accept the quest.
"I'm unsure of Garcis's choosing, but I would like to accept your quest Treants!" Siverra said, directly after saying this Garcis blurted out a "Me too!" and when he said that Siverra shot a piercing glare at him, and Garcis returned one. They were each thinking the same thing; 'Why are you going to take my gloves?!'
The Treants saw this and they telepathically spoke with one another until they each reached an equal decision. "You two are to do this quest separately.. if there is somehow an equal work done you will split the gloves or take them from each other by force! Just as long as it isn't in the forest.."
Garcis and Siverra were both equally surprised that the Treants would just spit it out like that without trying to sugar coat at least a bit.
"I trust you will succeed, have a good hunt.." After the Treants said this one by one they all disappeared into the ground, this left an awkward silence between Siverra and Garcis. Animosity was growing.
"You should let me have them." Garcis said while glaring at Siverra.
"You? I need it more, you couldn't possibly understand!" Siverra replied with attitude, they both thought they deserved the gloves or needed them for different reasons.
'If he doesn't want me to have the gloves.. I may as well take the river for myself now!' Siverra thought, up to this point he only wanted power anyway, Garcis obviously wasn't that loyal, so why not?
"All I can say is good luck to you" Garcis replied as he walked away from Siverra, as he passed him he gave a side glance and said "Rookie." Then he went his separate way.
'Rookie huh. He's going to regret that one.. you may have helped me up to this point Garcis.. but you shouldn't have provoked me!' Siverra stood there and thought with a horrific smile on his face.
Garcis was already long gone, he was thinking on how he could defeat the beast and he decided that he would need some help.. he had to use up some of his favors he had over the years.. he had to call Valle.
