XEROS AND I HAD BEEN BECOMING CLOSER AND CLOSER WITH EACH PASSING DAY.
It sometimes scared me how comfortable I was becoming around him. Every day, he waited for me outside of class, we had lunch together outside and we had even exchanged phone numbers so we could talk after school. I was almost waiting for the day he decided to stop being friends with me...People didn't stick around me for long.
"So, I was thinking," Xeros began as we walked down the crowded hallway.?
"That's never a good sign," I teased with a small smirk. "We wouldn't want to over-use your small brain."
He shot me a dry look. "You're hilarious. Ha. Ha."
I giggled, a wide smile forming on my face. "Sorry, but I only speak the truth."
He raised a pierced brow at me. While his face was straight, I could see the humor shining in his eyes.
