-Scene: before they saw each other again inside Ms. Greene's office- Thank you for reading!
--
Sir Kingsley sat on his chair while trying to get ahold of his thoughts that are rushing in his head that couldn't seem to stop. His breathing was fast due to the annoyance that he is feeling, his brows are furrowed, and every now and then a sigh would be released out of his lips while looking down at his desk and the books that are scattered on top. His hands are on his head, trying to get himself in control while pain and guilt flashed in his eyes, almost groaning out to vocalize his uneasy state that he's in.
He knows that right now, her friend could possibly know and did more than to notice her gloomy mood caused by him and his irrational words. He doesn't know how she's dealing with it and it pained him to imagine her crying but trying her best to not burst out. She can possibly just be quiet and deal with it inside her own mind. He doesn't know but it sure as hell hurt him too.
His words might be simple but it was enough to trigger her weakness and hurt her feelings, deeply. He was indirectly telling her not to feel any human emotions and act like a goddamn robot. It pained him more than he like. He felt sorry for the kid who's just trying to do her best to survive everything that has been put in her path towards her huge success in life.
He sighed once again and removed his glasses, putting them on his organized table which he didn't notice that he clean up his desk while thinking about one certain girl before he closed his eyes, wanting to get a little break from reading, working, and thinking continuously.
Before a knock comes from the door, loudly and his eyes immediately snapped towards the door with a glare. "What?" He gritted out from his teeth.
The other person seemed to think first before coming in with fear in their eyes while gulping away the forming lump in their throat. Their hands are placed on the doorknob and Sir Kingsley watched as it slowly turns but it stopped and he could almost felt the hesitation of the person and it annoyed him. "Just come in and tell me what you want." He told, calling out the person who is hesitating.
The student finally opens the door and comes into the room without peeking at Sir Kingsley and even though they're already staring at the ground, due to their clumsiness, they stumbled on the floor and the folders in their hands went flying and Sir Kingsley quickly stood up to catch some of the folders.
The student immediately stood up and fumbled on picking up the folders that were once organized. "I-I'm sorry! I-I'll arrange the folders!" She shrieked out while struggling to fix her glasses her nose.
Sir Kingsley sighed and rubbed his temples before placing some of the folders on his desk then he squats down to help to get the folders. "No need, student. It will take both of us some unnecessary time just to arrange the papers." He voiced out and the student looked at him with wide eyes, shocked by Sir Kingsley's sudden kindness.
Sir Kingsley didn't look at her but continued getting the messy papers and folders. "Don't get any ideas. I'm just helping so you can already leave. You're wasting too much of my time and I was supposed to take a 5-second break." He looks at the student and pointed to his watch on his wrist. "You already took many seconds of my precious time."
The student's face flushed deep red as their eyes meet but she nodded vigorously. "Y-yes, S-sir Kingsley. I deeply a-apologize, sir."
Sir Kingsley didn't respond and stood up after collecting the folders and papers. "If you don't need anything from me or if you have nothing else to say that's worth of my time then leave. I won't allow you to be clumsy inside my office again, it can be more than annoying than you think." He began to arrange the folders without glancing up at the student that's on the bridge of crying because she is aware of her clumsiness and how annoying it can be but Sir Kingsley's words went harder and harsher than anybody who told her that she's annoying.
She stood awkwardly in front of his desk and opened her mouth to say something to Sir Kingsley but no words are coming out of her trembling mouth. Sir Kingsley looked up to her with a raised brow and noticed how uncomfortable the student looks. "If you can't say what you got to say then I suggest you leave and please next time don't be the one who will come here to give me things because you're a waste of my time. I don't know how many times I have to say that but I hope that you have learned your lesson."
The girl nodded and tears come out from her eyes while she bites her lip. "I-I....nevermind. I'm sorry for wasting your time." She turned around after finally managing to get out words even if it can barely be heard.
A sound came out of her and her whole face and ears turned redder while she stops in her tracks and everything went completely silent. The smell reeks around the room and she cried harder as she never felt more embarrassed than she does at this time of her life. She couldn't believe herself and why she humiliated herself more. And she's in front of the terrifying man.
She just farted and the smell is nastier than anything that she has ever done.
Sir Kingsley quickly looked at her and stopped arranging the papers. "You might want to go to the comfort room. Be careful on your way." He told her and he didn't even bother covering his nose due to the smell instead, he walked around to open the windows and he stops in front of the door and opened it.
Sir Kingsley looked at her with bored eyes and waited for her to scurry out of the room and she didn't waste any time running out of the room and wiping her tears. "I-I'm so sorry! I was dared to e-eat cheese!" She squeaked out without looking at him and she didn't look back while running out.
Sir Kingsley chuckled and shook his head before walking back to his chair and proceeding to arrange the folders so he can go through them thoroughly, without closing the door, letting the nasty smell out of the room.
He actually finds the student who came in earlier amusingly enough to watch while she embarrassed herself.
But to think of it now, he isn't that affected when it comes to insulting other people but why is he affected when it comes to Layla? He tried using almost the same strategy to test out if he has gotten weak and emotional but he didn't feel anything from the student other than amusement and annoyance. When it comes to Layla, he is very much affected and he didn't even cry when his parents died so why do his emotions work on that kid? What's so different about her other than her intelligence?
