Sakura left some sandwiches for me for lunch. She had to go make some extra money just in case. I ate the sandwiches slowly looking out the window. I closed it as I looked at my hands. Making a small purplish fire on my hand. I then put it out by closing my hand no trace of smoke. I finished the sandwiches and when back to bed. What journey is waiting for me, I said out loud as I laid down on the bed. I slightly hugged my legs as I put the blanket over me. I closed my eyes filled with hopefulness and dreams.
I woke up in the next morning. I packed my things as I carried it out of the room. Sakura was packing away two tents and some blankets. I see you brought those at the market, I said as I watched her. "Well they will come in handy," she answered as she continued to pack somethings. She finally packed everything together as I walked out of our room. "Make sure you hide your weapons they don't like to see them," Sakura said as we walked down. She checked us out and we were off to start this journey. The question is will I regret? We continued walking though the crowd of people to Spring forest. As we got there it was a quiet yet magical forest. You could really feel it. I brushed my hand softly on the tree feeling it's energy. It was strong as it could be. It's nothing like others forests I gone to. I looked back at Sakura as we walked inside slowly. Our feet brushing on the grass as the wind blew softly. Spring forest was bigger then I thought. Theres no path, no right direction really anyone could get lost here or they aren't careful or not aware of where they're going. We continued walking. As we walked I continued to hope Ren will find us I honestly didn't even know what was what and where was where. We stopped to rest at a small river steam after an hour or two. "This might be tougher then it looks," Sakura said splashing water on her face. I nodded, Yea..., I said nervously. Sakura looked at the map as she put her hand over it, "How about a little bit of magic," she said looking at her waiting for an answer. You know that's forbidden what if someone sees, I said in a panic. "It's the easiest way out of here," she answered. B-but but I know where a guide is!!, I said. "Huh so you met someone," she asked. Yea uh he told me-, I started as I was cut off. "He you say," she said raising her eye brow. Maybe I shouldn't of say anything.. "Common give me an answer," she demanded. I told there nervously as we heard a loud roar. Oh thank god that happened. I can't handed Sakura when she's like that. We both turn to the forest where the roar was. The ground shock and the birds in the sky flew away. Something was coming tours us. A monster pop out the forest as it roared loud showing its sharp teeth. Sakura stood in front of me with her hand out. Protecting me even though I don't need it. The monster ran towards us and it strikes with its sharp claws. Sakura quickly blocked the attacked as slashing the beast. The monster rawr in pain as it looked at us angrily as it ran at us again. Sakura slashed it quickly as it falls down dead. Sakura let's out a sigh relief but another monster attacked Sakura. I took out my sword quickly as Sakura fell down getting back up quickly. Sakura ran at it attacking but the beast dodged her landing a attack on her. She was hit to tree knocked out. The beast looked at me as I stood there. Another ran over with angrily ready to attack. I guess I have no choice, I said to myself. I looked as my swords as I blew a purple flame on my sword. I took a deep breath as I ran towards the beast. I slashed them both as the blew up in flames inside there body's as they fall down to the down. I shook my sword as the fire go's out. I really hope no one saw that. I ran over to Sakura checking her pulse. I took a breath of relief. I could see she wanted to protect me I guess it's just a habit. I shouldn't tell her not to because she's been doing all her life. I hear footsteps creeping I turned pointing my sword as the sound. Ren popped out, "Hey are you okay?," he asked. I nodded lowering my sword as he walked to me. "I saw them running towards here so I came here as fast as I could," he said as he starts to check on Sakura. They were unexpected what are they anyways, I asked observing him. "They're called Wolven they could grow at an huge size and change its body and shape as it grows they have incredible sharp teeth they never travel alone," he answered looking at me. "I saw magic I felt magic," he gave me a serious look. I froze what was I supposed to say, o-oh, I said nervously. "You don't have to say anything I didn't tell you about myself either," he answered as he carried Sakura up. Uh where are we going, I asked getting up. "My house it's not too far," he said as he started walking. I followed, alright. "I didn't think you'll be here," he said as we walked. I smiled softly, I just thought I'll take that offer, I answered. We walked the rest of the way in silent as we arrived at his house. I opened the door and he laid Sakura on his couch. Is she going to okay, I asked as I sat my her side. He nodded, "I promise she'll be fine but she was hit pretty hard," he said as he put ice on the back of her head. I should of protected her, I said mumbling. "You two must be good friends," he said tilting his head. Yes we are, I answered honestly. He turns away walking off to his kitchen, "If you haven't guessed I'm a Magi," he said. H-huh!?, I said surprised and shocked. A magic user I never heard about them. I know they're like us but wow. Oooh that how you could sense magic, I said. That really cleared things up. He sighed, "I wouldn't of though you guessed how do you think I live in a place like this in the woods," he said as I took a look around. He has electric and water but I don't see any machines. A-ah I must of gotten so caught up with my partner," I said realizing. I actually was too distracted to noticed. He shock his head as he handed me a cup of tea, "Drink this it will regain your strength," he said as he took a sip. I looked at it for a second taking a slip. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. It was kind of bitter yet sweet. Bittersweet? It doesn't taste like normal tea. "If you don't mind may I treat this friend of yours," he asked putting his tea on the table. I nodded as he when beside me. He held her arms out. A slightly magic come off of his hands slowly healing Sakura. Wow he wasn't kidding. I would of thought magical creatures like that would disappear after so many years. He did her other arms too and looked at me. "That should do I'm unable to heal her all the way because it could do serious damage to her physical so you could bandage her," he said as he hands me a med kit. Thank you, I said bowing my head slightly. "And you should take care of yourself too," he said as he grabbed arm. He slightly turned it and I see slight scratches. Oh, I said surprised I didn't even know those were there. I guess they didn't missed and that I used my powers too much. He laid his palm on my arm, "I'm sorry I couldn't find you much earlier," he said looking down. I assume he felt bad because he wanted us to travel though Spring Forest. It was by choice if anything it's really my fault, I answered giving this my honest answer. He heals me a little then started wrapping some bandages on my arms. He backs away all done with my wounds. T-thank you, I said quietly. This feels different.... I can't explain it....
"It's no problem," he said with a kind soft smile. It really fills me with happiness and make me feel safe. I continue to sip the tea as we both talked for awhile.
