Upon making sure her daughter was good, Chen Rumin left the girls, stepped out of the room, walked to the kitchen to continue cooking.
Chen Ziyi could not help but to release a short breathe of relief. Her mother insisted wanting to bring her to doctor, but she refused, saying she was good. Fortunately the hiccup and the bleeding had stopped.
She was aware exactly how healthy her body is and she had no any chronic disease that would interfere with her daily life.
She doubt the doctor that she would meet later would ask in-depth of any incident that happen to her recently, but if the doctor was someone from her mother's circles, the doctor must do some 'extra' attention to her,
What if after listened to their story, the doctor who might more keen compared to her mother and friends, could match the puzzle and realize the real reason for her having a nosebleed?
A fifteen year old girl had started to have a dirty imagination on her mind just by looking at a 'should be normal' scene in front of kid age like her. What would the doctor think? She would be in awkward to answer her mother question, right?
More than that, what kind of expression that the doctor would have when she looked at her. Where should she hide her face?
She did not dare to make an assumption of what the doctor would do. Whether the doctor would tell her mother in implicit way or maybe the the doctor would do nothing,-
Just by imagining that situation made her flushed more.
"You don't feel hot. Hmm,.. I don't feel any heat from you either. But why are you reddening again?" Han Meirong saw that, asked, leaning closer to Chen Ziyi.
"Do I?" Chen Ziyi asked back, maintain her eye contact with Han Meirong.
"En. Your face, your ear, your neck, even you toes. Well not now anymore. But just now you were red."
"But there's no heat from me, right?" Chen Ziyi said, did not mind the hand that was currently on her forehead.
"Hmm~ that why it is so weird that you could have a nosebleed when you don't even have a fever."
"I feel hot inside my body for a few second that made me nosebleed. You can't feel the heat, but I felt it.- just for few seconds. But it's good now already. So, don't worry much," With a faint laugh, Chen Ziyi turned her gaze away.
Chen Ziyi herself was not confident of the nonsense she was telling to her friend. Afterwards, she just kept her lip sealed and busying herself trying to loosen and calm herself, pushing away all the dirty thoughts and hiccup and nosebleed incidents to the furthest back side of her mind.
She then put away the ice wrapped as she think she did not need them anymore before put her laptop in front of her.
Han Meirong scooted over to the empty space on the bed beside Chen Ziyi.
"You will leave tomorrow to Province Y?" Han Meirong asked.
Chen Ziyi nodded while squashing her pillow on her lap.
"You are going to move few of your things first?" Han Meirong asked again.
"Nope. We have to go for an appointment with an interior designer. My mom said it would be easier if I tag along so they know what kind of bedroom I want. The appointment should be somewhere in the province and we might drop by at the new house so I can get a preview of the room." Chen Ziyi said while her fingers typing something on her laptop keyboard.
"So that is the reason you are looking at these articles? Good Combination Colors for Your Bedroom? Woah~You are really thoroughly about this. Minimalist style bedroom. Too Much Colours Could Make Your Room Seems Mess?" Han Meirong's body leaned closer to Chen Ziyi. Her eyes read each point that was highlighted in the article posted on the web page.
"How nice! You can design your own room the way you want. It will be very impossible for me to suddenly ask my father to change the interior of my current room! Since I will be rarely coming home this upcoming three years, I don't think my mother would even consider to make it happen." Lin Chao-xing exclaimed with her deliberate acting like she was upset.
"Yeah. To begin with, all of them just decide that girls room must be in pink colour. But then, it's not like I dislike them. Mine was soft pink combine with some blue and white furnishings anyway. So mine still nice." Han Meirong said.
"This room was almost painted in pink if I did not make a fuss over it. You can imagine by yourself of how the kid version of me making the fuss," Chen Ziyi said while trying to recall back of the memories of ten years ago but as she was so small at that time, so she failed to remember the details.
She only remembered that she did make a fuss with her mother over her mother's plan to paint her bedroom in pink colour.
Upon hearing that, both Han Meirong and Lin Chao-xing's eyes looked around the brown room for a full minute before they released a laugh.
They were imagining the room was in pink theme and the stoic Chen Ziyi living in the imagination. They laughed so hard that it made Chen Ziyi raised an eyebrow looking at both of them.
"What was that?" Chen Ziyi felt like they were making fun of her, so she asked.
"Nothing. It might suit you. You never know it," Lin Chao-xing teasingly joked.
"So, have you decided the key point of the design?" Han Meirong asked Chen Ziyi who pouted staring at the laptop screen ignoring them.
"Secret."

"Really not going to meet doctor? We still have time tomorrow. OR I can push the date a day later," Chen Rumin asked, while her head rested on her daughter's head.
They were currently in living room. Chen Rumin sat on the couch while watching the TV while Chen Ziyi sat on the floor, watching something on the tablet. The video flashed on the tudou seemed like an academic video, so Chen Rumin did not pry much into it.
"No, It's okay. There's no need to do that. We met the doctor previously and the doctor also said there was nothing wrong with me. And there was not much medicine for me at that time that might cause any reversal effect. Mom, both of us know I have a healthy body. I mean, of course pushing aside my allergies reaction to certain things, I should be good." Chen Ziyi said, comforting her mother.
"Healthy body? I only see a frail and skinny lanky girl in front of me. Where did all the food go?"
"Mom. It's good that I have no chronic disease that require me to meet doctor back and forth, right?"
"Hah~ yes. I feel grateful for your well-being. Thank you, my daughter, for always take good care of yourself. Thank you for lessening my worry over your health." Chen Rumin said before giving a kiss on top of her daughter's head.
Chen Ziyi's mouth curved into a smile for her win over her mother but of course her mother could not see it as they were not facing each other.
Chen Rumin was indeed grateful that her daughter was born with at least no chronic disease other than allergic reaction to a certain thing. Both she and her daughter at least had the knowledge of what are the things that her daughter allergies to.
Her daughter also did not mind to avoid the things she could not consume and exposed to.
It was because she know if she get sick, her time to spend with her father would lessen. It was not easy for her to get the chance to spend time together with her father as her father always 'busy', so she could not afford to get sick and valued every second as a precious thing in her life.
Thus, knowing what kind of reaction her body would have toward every things she allergic to, she tend to avoid those thing so she would always have at least be prepared in good health anytime.
The efforts that her daughter made by avoiding things that she could control made Chen Rumin felt pain in her heart. Just because of the father's title, her daughter would do anything.
Contradict to her daughter, other people who had allergic reaction to certain food, still ate them. Either they were aware or not of how their body would react, those people would later took some medicine to reduce the reaction.
Her daughter had those medicine but she still wanted to avoid them, saying she would rather feel ease for not suffering the reaction.
Of course Chen Rumin know despite of her daughter saying she did not want to suffer the reaction, another reason for that was she was not willing to suffer for getting sick and lessen the time she had.
To her daughter, if it was something she could control, she will control.
What kind of human can escape getting sick or being perfect in health in every moment? There must be something that would badly affected one human's perfect state in one moment.
There were also the times where her daughter got sick as there were still external factors that no human could control, but it was not a frequent thing. Chen Rumin could count by her own hands on just how many times they went to meet doctor in a year.
Thinking that, Chen Rumin could not help but sighed of worry.
Despite of being grateful of her daughter's well-being, thinking of how her daughter used to be made her worries.
A thought flashed into her mind.
"You-still taking good care of yourself, right?"
