"HOW MANY WARNINGS DO YOU WANT TO GET EXPELLED?!"
That roaring voice resounded through the stairs. Shaun slowed down his steps and peeked his head at the staircase.
It was 7 AM, and the sun had just come out. However, instead of welcoming the morning cheerfully, Shaun remained silent. Their father never yelled, when he did it, it means that he's really angry.
He watched the papers scattered on the floor as his father's slap rang very hard in Sean's ears. His brother clenched his fist, but didn't dare to look at his father. Shaun can see the disappointment in his eyes too–for himself.
For the first time in his life, Shaun saw his new father get mad. Luckily, he made that plan yesterday to meet Anna. One of his father's friends passed by the billiard shop last week and saw Sean with the gang there.
Also, the times Sean spent there spread all over the school and some of his teachers also couldn't handle keeping quiet anymore despite his family status. He also failed his last exams.
