Capítulo 3: The Devil and The Offer
On one of the chairs, the dead Sandhanam is sitting while in front of him right across the table a man is sitting who is wearing a black suit with a glass of champagne in his hand and this man showed Sandhanam how he died.
Sandhanam has once again went through the memory lane of his and most of his siblings and relatives deaths.
And it was all thanks to this other black suit wearing man who from his face is looking like a foreign man to Sandhanam.
And after going through that memory lane, Sandhanam became enraged and then holding the fork placed on the table tightly in the grip of his hand Sandhanam became determined to kill this man.
With this determination of his, Sandhanam got up from his chair and charged towards the black suit man to kill him.
But even before he could reach near the black suit man, Sandhanam felt a very sharp and painful sensation of heat coming from his feet.
And this made him to drop the fork and at this moment when Sandhanam looked down he saw that he is standing over a boiling lava and the fork which he has dropped immediately melt down and got dissolved in the lava.
"Snap"
With a smile on his face that black suit man snapped his fingers and Sandhanam saw that below his feet a land mass forming that protected him from the lava.
Black Suit Man: "Mr. Sandhanam please take your seat. There is no need for grown men like us to get into any kind of dispute."
Although still enraged on that black suit man, Sandhanam listened to his words and sat down on his chair after realizing that this man is not a very simple man he seems to be.
Sitting across the table again Sandhanam still gave that murderous look that black suit man and seeing that look of his, the black suit man just gave a smile to him and then he fixed his suit and got up from his chair.
After he got up, that black suit man gave a look to Sandhanam and then he disappeared right before Sandhanam's eyes.
Seeing this Sandhanam became shocked at first but then he remembered that this man is not a normal and this place where he is in also not a normal place so Sandhanam immediately dispelled the shock and became normal.
Soon Sandhanam felt a gust of wind passing by his side and right after this that black suit man appeared right behind Sandhanam with his hands over the shoulders of Sandhanam and his face closer to the left side ear of Sandhanam.
Black Suit Man(whispering): "You are just a dead man who can't kill. You can't even protect your brother who died due to an explosion in your house and your other siblings died just because of you by the hands of Vikram and his allies just because of you."
Black Suit Man: "You saw all of those relatives you grew you up and even let you study to die just for you. Don't you feel that you were hopeless and useless against Vikram. You can't even kill that single old man even after taking a strength increasing drug. You are just a fucking failure as a villain."
Whispering these words, the black suit man wait for the next move of Sandhanam. The black suit man anticipated that Sandhanam will became enraged and will let his fists loose on him.
But the black suit man soon found Sandhnam quietly sitting on his chair with no reaction and emotion visible on his face.
The black suit man soon whispered some more words in his ears but Sandhnam remained unfazed and calm.
"Clap... clap... clap... clap..."
Seeing this calm composure of the dead man, the black suit man became very impressed with him as he began to clap for him with a laugh on his face.
Disappearing once again from the behind of Sandhanam, the black suit man appeared across Sandhanam sitting on his chair unbuttoning two buttons of his suit.
Black Suit Man: "I am really impressed with you Sandhanam. You stayed unfazed and calm against my whispers. My whispers which can shake the hearts of the most brave men. My whispers are what many people say The Devil's Whisper."
The Devil's Whisper are the words spoken by the devil himself in the ears of the mortals to influence the mortals for doing the bindings for the devil.
And if this black suit man says that his whispers are what is said to be The Devil's Whisper then that means this black suit man is The Devil Himself.
Devil: "Tell me how you remained so calm ?"
Sandhanam: "I would be lying if I say that I wasn't influenced by your whispers. For a very very short time my anger and rage took over me and I was ready to kill you by my own bare hands. But then I remembered that I am a dead man and whatever you whispered in my ears held truth in them. And after realizing this I became calm and remained unfazed from your whispers."
Hearing these words of Sandhanam, the devil became very impressed with him but then he told him, "I am impressed that you realized your situation very well. But there is another truth of yours that you shouldn't forget which is your originality. You originality is that you are a born villain."
Sandhanam with the same calmness on his face said, "I am not forgetting my originality. I clearly know about that. But the thing is now this truth of mine is of no use. I am dead and there is no chance for me to live this originality of mine once again. So it's very much futile now."
With a little chuckle the devil looked at Sandhanam and said, "I am right. You are the correct person. The Devil is always right."
Sandhanam became a little confused but then the devil continued, "Sandhanam do you know what were the reasons that you lost to Vikram even after outnumbering him and using the strength increasing drug ?"
Sandhanam with a straight face answered, "No."
Devil: "Then let me enlight you about your defeat and it's connection to the grand scheme of The Creator. You see the main reason for which you lost to Vikram is because Vikram is the Chosen One of Rhe Creator."
Sandhanam: "Chosen One what a cliché word."
Devil: "I agree that this term Chosen One is very cliché and cringe actually. But it is what The Creator used and then in the vast Omniverse that term found it's synonyms and began to grow and expand. Now the chosen ones are the people chosen by The Creator or his forces of Good, Truth, Justice and all the positive energies to become the so called Protector of the worlds and Omniverse in total. And your killer or enemy Vikram is also one such Chosen One."
Sandhanam: "Sensing the emphasis that you have given I thought these chosen ones might be some grand and big figure. But it turns out they are all just a sham show piece who doesn't have anything of their own."
Devil: "I am really impressed. You have really cracked the entire ploy of the chosen one fiasco. Just as you have said the chosen ones have nothing of their own they just get some powers from The Creator to fight the villains whose destiny the very same Creator has fixed to die by the hands of the chosen ones. You were one such villain and Vikram the chosen one has received superior intelligence and IQ which helped him in defeating you."
Sandhanam: "I got these things but what about me, this place and you ? What are planning to do by bringing me here and telling me all of this ?"
Devil: "Let me introduce myself first. I am The Devil who rules over this place which you can call Hell or Narak."
Sandhanam: "Devil as in the Devil about whom many holy books talk about ?"
Devil: "Exactly. I am the same Devil. And the purpose for which I have brought you here is to make you my chosen one."
Hearing this term "chosen one", a disdain appeared on the face of Sandhanam as he said, "Now you also want a chosen one. Please cut the crap."
Devil: "You see Sandhanam the world from where you are from is a blend world where evil and good stays in coexistence. But apart from that world, the other worlds in the Omniverse has been wiped out of evil. And if I want to send you to any of that world then I have to make you a chosen one."
Sandhanam: "But if I disagree to do what you have said ?"
Hearing Sandhanam's words a smile appeared on the face of the devil with his eyes glowing blood red and at that same time Sandhanam felt his entire body burning with many hands pulling him in that fire.
"This is the flame of hell that specializes in burning the souls. In less than three seconds your entire existence will be wiped out and you will never get the chance of reincarnation. But I am offering you a chance to live again and get all those things that you have desired to achieve. Everything that you can't get I can give you a chance get all of those things. So now you chose what you want. Another chance or permanent erasure."
The words of the devil struck like a lightening in the heart of Sandhanam as he began to unable to handle the flames of hell that are scorching his very soul and existence of Sandhanam from the entire Omniverse.
