"We can do this some other time if you're really upset" Hazel said to Yuka who was standing by the window of his chamber, his lips set in a grim line. He let out a sigh and closed his eyes.

"I'm fine" he said, turning to face her. He took her hand in his, gazing into her eyes. For a moment, he forgot how to breathe. Her eyes had flecks of silver, emerald and gold. Her eyes were beautiful. They were unique and he knew at once, that there was something about her that was a mystery. A red blood would never possess such color of eyes.

"Think about your family" he breathed.

She blinked, wondering why he was staring at her so intensely. She guessed she would never know why, especially because she couldn't read his mind.
