Rose regained consciousness and everything from her death flooded into her brain. 'What a way to die.' Rose recalled how she had died when her traitorous boyfriend pushed her off the platform and into the tracks of an oncoming train. She scowled internally remembering the grin on his face. Rose flinched as she started receiving the memories of her new body. She was now a girl by the name of Dahlia who had died of starvation after her parents died in a famine.
"Big sister! Please sister! Please don't leave me!" That was Dahlia's younger brother, Cypress. Cypress was shaking Dahlia's feeble shoulders, trying to wake her up, tears streaming down his face.
"Big sister is fine, just a little dizzy is all." Dahlia sat up trying to comfort her new brother.
'Poor boy his parents died and now he lost his sister too. I think he is no older than twelve. I guess I am his big sister now.' Dahlia looked at the boy. He was dressed in tattered dirty clothes and was barely the size of a nine year old much less a twelve year old.
"Cypress where are we?" Dahlia asked the small boy as she got her thoughts straight. "Big sister do you not remember? This is the temple of the Gods."
Just a little note! :)
I use “ “ for dialogue and ’ ‘ for the Lead’s thoughts.
Have a lovely Day!
Sorry it is so short... :(
