Nirvana, who had just finished securing the area, walked over to Martin with her silver mask glinting in the dim light filtering through the trees.

She could sense his frustration, though her own resolve remained as steady as ever. "We could try avoiding them," she suggested, her voice calm but purposeful.

"But it seems word of our strength is spreading fast. I wouldn't be surprised if more teams come after us now."

Martin let out a small chuckle. "Of course. Nothing attracts trouble more than success."

Indeed, the reputation of their earlier skirmishes seemed to have preceded them.

The remaining teams on the island were likely aware of their strength by now, and the more aggressive ones would view them as a threat that needed to be neutralized early.
