Capítulo 7: Seven: Victor

The Unformed increased its speed, eager to tear into CalisVon. When it had gotten within an inch of him, MorDrigin's eyes finally turned to his mother, as he wondered if she wasn't going to do anything about it.

But when he aimed his sights to his mother, he found she wasn't there. One blink, and she had returned with Calis in her hands.

His eyes were voids, he looked pale and he sat on the ground motionless.

"Are you still there Calis?" TayDrigin said, shaking him.

He blinked, then turned his sights to TayDrigin. Yet he said nothing.

"Lady Drigin." LoriHaden had called out, pulling everyone's attention.

Mor had turned to face Lori, who was pointed at something, then he traced her finger and his eyes widened when he found the Unformed racing for them.

"Sai, come over here." TayDrigin said to Sai, who was hesitant.

Hearing his sister's name, Mor's heart pulsed for a moment. Then he nudged her forward with a smile.

Once she made it to her mother's side, she fell her gaze as she was being overcome with anxiousness.

Without asking, TayDrigin flicked her finger in the air, and a weapon formed out of a spark of light in her hand. What she held in her hand was a thin chain with a spiky ball at the end.

She rose her hand to SaiDrigin and dawned a gentle smile.

"You can do this." She said with a soft and encouraging tone.

MorDrigin watched, without a trace of doubt in his heart.

"If you hesitate any longer, we'll all be Unformed feces by tomorrow." MorDrigin jested, trying to put his sister at ease.

SaiDrigin smiled, then she became filled with vigor. She took the chains, then she rushed out into the open.

"I'm fine." CalisVon spoke up, pulling everyone's attention.

He did not show his eyes, but he spoke once more.

"I'm fine." He repeated, presumably in an attempt to make TayDrigin leave him alone.

"I see." She had said, then she took her hand off his shoulder and stood up.

All eyes lingered on him for a second too long. Had it not been for MorDrigin who called everyone's attention to Sai, they would have stared even longer.

Mor knew how this boy felt, and thus he knew that he would like to be alone for a while. All MorDrigin hoped in his heart, was that he would bounce back the next time, and not fall once more.

Turning his sights to SaiDrigin, Mor was a little surprised when he saw that the Unformed had already lost one of its arms. He knew his sister was a protege, but...he didn't expect this.

As Mor watched, he found himself finding what he was seeing barely believable.

SaiDrigin spun her chain, then sent the ball at the end flying toward the Unformed Ethos' face. After which she twisted her end of the chain so the vibration carried to the ball and caused it to wiggle around and strike its shoulder, chest and arm.

She then pulled her chain back with her leg before grabbing it in her hand and spinning it like gear as fast as the speed of light. She dashed forward and rammed the spiky ball into the the Unformed Ethos' elbow.

It lashed out with its one good hand, but Sai ducked under its attack with relative ease and sent the ball crashing into its elbow once more. Still using the spin of her chain, she crashed the ball into the same spot once more causing the elbow to crack and lose hold of the rest of the arm.

With that Sai wrapped its legs with her chest then clambered onto it and leaped over its shoulder. Digging her feet into the ground, Sai held on tight and waited. Within the second the Unformed had tightened the chain around its leg and began to fall.

While it was falling in midair, Sai whipped her chain, removing its hold on the Unformed. Then, pulling it back using her legs, then arms, so it looked like she was about to tangle herself. She spun out of the chain's entanglement like an arrow then leaped onto the Unformed Ethos' chest.

Pulling her chain, she wasted no time swing the ball across the crack on the Unformed Ethos' chest. She struck it about ten times in the span of five seconds before the Unformed became paralyzed.

Now with its center exposed, Sai spun her chain over head. And with a scream she rammed the ball into the shimmering blackness.

*BOOM*

The stone body of the Unformed had burst into pieces, Pouring rock debris in every direction along with a kick-up of dust which covered Sai.

The dust and debris flew far and wide, so that everyone who had their mouths open ate a good chunk of the dust and stone. Yet they didn't care, their mouths were still open.

And no matter how much Mor thought he expected from Sai, she had completely shattered his expectations. So that he too had his mouth wide open.

Eager to see what was happening, TayDrigin picked out her sword from her Inventory, then once again swung it at the air so an enormous gust of wind cleared the dust.

As the dust cleared, Sai could be seen on one knee, with the black shimmering blob on her hand. It was already glowing a red hue, it was already bonding with her.

Silence fell for a second or two, but just then, a clamor broke out. LoriHaden and MayHaden rushed SaiDrigin in an embrace, almost falling her over.

TayDrigin took her time, but she too made it toward Sai. Leaving only Mor and the gloomy boy.

Standing here, MorDrigin didn't know exactly what to feel. But something was aching in his heart. Was he jealous? He didn't know. But one thing he did know was that he didn't like how he felt.

Feeling out of place by not going to Sai's side, Mor felt anger toward himself. Then, to his surprise, CalisVon made his way toward Sai.
