After searching far and wide for Self Gu, Ren Zu and his children finally managed to track it down in a piece of Truthful Floating Ice on the River of Time.
"Self Gu is so small?" Ren Zu held it in his hands.
Cognition Gu replied: "In the eyes of Heaven and Earth a single Self is infinitesimally small."
Ren Zu was disappointed: "I spent so long trying to my Self, but it turned out to be so insignificant, how is Self Gu going to help me break free of Fate?"
Ren Zu's heart wept.
He thought his family would never be united.
"Oh Human, a single Self maybe insignificant to Heaven and Earth but there is a way to grow yourself."
Ren Zu was elated: "Quick tell me."
"Karma is the Dao's way of handling all Cause and Effect, good Karma is long and hard to build up, but bad Karma is quick and easy. Both will allow your Self Gu to grow."
Ren Zu was enlightened: "I see, how does one acquire Bad and Good Karma?"
"Seek out Good and Evil Gu if you want to know, for Cognition does differentiate between Good and Bad."
So, Ren Zu, Carefree Wisdom Heart and, Great Strength True Martial began to traverse the world in search of Good and Evil Gu.
But soon Great Strength True Martial grew tired of searching: "How are we ever going to find Good and Evil Gu?"
The 3 of them stopped to think it through when Carefree Wisdom Heart had an idea: "I read in Book Mountain that Rules and Regulation Gu are good friends with Good and Evil Gu since we know where Rules and Regulation Gu like to hangout let's try there."
With no better alternative, Ren Zu and his children headed to the mountain cave Ren Zu first climbed in desperation.
Upon reaching the cave he so 4 Gu talking to each other.
"Oh, it's the human?" Rules Gu said: "I didn't expect you to survive."
"Is this the human you were referring to?" One of the mysterious Gu said.
"That's right it is," Regulation Gu responded.
Rules Gu turned to Ren Zu: "You know the Rules once you lose us we will never work for you again, leave before we enforce our rulings."
"Oh, Rules and Regulation Gu your words have binding on me, I'm not here to seek you but to ask you to point us to Good and Evil Gu."
Rules and Regulation Gu were shocked: "You want to know of Good and Evil, what a coincidence they're here right now."
The 2 Gus that was talking with Rules and Regulation Gu were also intrigued: "So you want to know the difference between Good and Evil eh?"
The 2 Gu spoke in sync: "Unlike Rules and Regulation Gu's rule about calling their name, ours is simpler."
Ren Zu couldn't believe his luck: "To think we managed to encounter Good and Evil, how lucky."
"What are your conditions?" Carefree Wisdom Heart asked.
The 2 Gus laughed: "Simple. You must consume one of your children!"

"Outrageous!" Ren Zu immediately assumed the Gus was trying to trick him, but Rules and Regulation Gu said:
"They aren't lying."
"Hehe, Human so what will it be? If you do not choose then you will never be able to separate Good and Evil."
Ren Zu and his children were conflicted.
"Father, do what you must we won't hold it against you," Great Strength True Martial and Carefree Wisdom Heart both said.
This made it more difficult for Ren Zu to choose.
"Pick one in the next 10 seconds."

Ren Zu looked Great Strength True Martial in the eyes.
He held no fear, of pain, feat or regret: "A man must know when to lay down his life for another."

…Silence filled the room.
*Ding* *Ding* *Ding*
"Congratulations!" a calm melodic voice entered Ren Zu's ears: "You've picked the right answer, there is no greater Good than one laying their life down for another, there is no greater evil than taking one's life for another."
Ren Zu's eyes could now see the difference between Good Gu and Evil Gu.
Evil Gu was sinister and glowing dark Red, whereas Good Gu glowed bright white.
"I-is that how Good and Evil looks?" Ren Zu asked.
"Yes and no" Evil Gu responded: "There are absolute Good and absolute Evil, we are mere representations of those concepts, but Human's act in the grey all the time. No Human is purely Good and no Human is purely Evil."
Ren Zu and his children left the cave with a deeper bond:
"Remember Humans now that you know the difference between Good and Evil, Judgement Gu will continuously observe you."
Back in the Void Sphere:
"Indeed, it is Evil Gu, combined with Retribution and Judgement Gu, we can form the Killer Move, Subjugating Evil Through Atonement!" Genesis Lotus took 2 other Gu.
"Prepare yourself, Fang Yuan."
Immortal Killer Move --------- Subjugating Evil Through Atonement!
"Hmph!" Fang Yuan snorted: "Bring it on."
Suddenly, from above, Fang Yuan's Dharmic Wheel was pierced through, fracturing the Wheel, by a giant gate!
The doors flung open; chains flew out at Fang Yuan.
Fang Yuan sent a barrage of Killer Moves at the Door:
Immortal Killer Move --------- Daybreak Torrent
Immortal Killer Move --------- Pink Fog of Dang Hun Mountain and Sound
Immortal Killer Move --------- 7 Color Rainbow Sword
All these moves collided with the chains and doors but did little to stop them.
Soon Fang Yuan's hands and feet were wrapped in Chains, they began to reel him in!
"Tch," Fang Yuan tried several more Killer Moves, to no avail.
"It's useless, just accept your fate," Primordial said by the side: "Hopefully you'll come out a better man."
Outside the Void Sphere,
Star Constellation and Genesis Lotus stood side by side, protecting a crystalline black sphere.
The Void Sphere may have been outside the natural flow of Time and Space, but it still needed a tether to the main timeline, or it would forever be lost.
Naturally, Genesis Lotus and Star Constellation were protecting this from Giant Sun.
"Where did Fang Yuan and Red Lotus go!" Giant Sun demanded an answer.
"It's none of your business," Genesis Lotus replied.
"We'll see about that," Giant Sun activated his Luck Path Killer Move, I Reside In All Living Beings, and Heaven, and Earth.
He was now in his strongest form, ready to fight for real.
But before he could charge at the 2 Venerables, Star Constellation waved her hand and a stone corridor opened up.
Within he saw Light Emperor and Hei Lou Lan, desperately fighting against a large strand of Chaos!
"Before you start a fight with us you might want to look at the situation there," she pointed
"You!" Giant Sun was at a loss for words, those 2 were his brightest descendants and represented his hope for a turning point.
"What are you trying to do," Giant Sun frowned.
"Nothing. This is an arrangement left be Reckless Demon Venerable, I only know that it contains an opportunity that is at a level even Venerables will be moved by.
Giant Sun was hesitant as it could all be a trap, but he saw that Light Emperor and Hei Lou Lan really couldn't hang in there much longer.
"I'll be back," after verifying there were no traps, he rushed to help the two.
As soon as Giant Sun entered the Stone corridor closed behind him, though he wasn't worried as he had left a mark to detect the location at the top of the Upslope Road.
"Now that Giant Sun is out of the way," Star Constellation turned to the empty space he once stood: "Care to come out now Spectral Soul Demon Venerable? Or should I say Heaven's Will?"
Space cracked apart, revealing a handsome figure, who wore long coats and had a very suave sophisticated, pale, look to him.
It was as if the corpse of an aristocrat was preserved in mint condition, stood before Star Constellation and Genesis Lotus.
Of course, it was Heaven's Will possessing Spectral Soul Demon Venerable!
"Hmm? Impressive, not only did you detect my presence, but you also figured out my identity." Heaven's Will seemed amused:
"I must applaud you but sadly it does little to convince me,"
Star Constellation began talking: "Don't be so quick to dismiss us, we have Fang Yuan trapped currently," she points to the Void Sphere:
"I propose a deal."
"I'm listening."
Star Constellation said: "You let Humanity be the sole dominant force for the next Million Years after we kill Fang Yuan, afterwards we will prevent such threats as, Reckless, Thieving Heaven, Limitless, Spectral Soul and of course, Fang Yuan, from ever appearing again, in exchange for Humanities continued success."
Heaven's Will stroke his chin: "Interesting. But why would I need you? I have already regained most of my strength and can easily wipe Fang Yuan out myself."
Star Constellation nodded: "Indeed, you could wipe Fang Yuan out yourself, but what if you throw Giant Sun into the mix? Or Reckless? Or what about us?"
Sparks flew as Star Constellation said that:
"Oh? You want to establish a relationship and threaten me at the same time, a bold but ultimately dumb move." Heaven's Will squinted his eyes.
"Hmph, don't look down on us, just me and Genesis Lotus would be enough to cause trouble to you, never mind the others as well. We easily have the strength of 4 Venerables on our side alone. Can you stop that?"
Heaven's Will squint became a frown: "Are you threatening me for Fang Yuan?"
Star Constellation retorted: "Do we have a deal?"
The intense tension between the two made even Genesis Lotus begin to sweat slightly.
"HAHAHHAHA" Heaven's Will roared out laughing: "Perhaps Earth was not completely wrong about you lifeforms, let's talk terms away from here."
Heaven's Will tore a crack in Space that led to a small room, a luxurious looking room, with tables and chairs.
Star Constellation nodded and walked in with Heaven's Will.
Leaving Genesis Lotus alone to guard the Void Sphere.

zulbucks Hey, guys sorry have been infrequent this week, due to my departure from both work and school, things have been hectic.
In this chapter I try something I never thought I would, <the Legends of Ren Zu>
When I started this Fanfic I did not want to touch this amazing headcanon of literature within the Gu World, but I decided to give at least 1 attempt.
What do yall think?
There are a lot of gaps in the <Legends of Ren Zu> but I want to try to fill them as well, all suggestions are welcomed, things like plot points, Gu, and most importantly the names of the last 2 children!
I look forward to all your suggestions :)
