Capítulo 157: Promise

One way or another, I think things do play out the way they are supposed to. No matter how hurt we had been back then, better things did happen and I am glad that we were able to push through it all stronger together.

"Somehow, I am so glad you two came clean and told us about this," Suzy admitted, "Especially you, Lizzie."

Suzy's hazel eyes showed softness I never seen in them since our first ride from Massachusetts to Cali. I had always thought of Suzy as sort of a bitch with her sassy mouth and somehow haughty personality. The only time that I thought she was really kind to me was when she did my very first make-over.

That one, despite my initial protests, turned out great. I appreciated Suzy a lot for that. And even though I had been stuck up on my outdated fashion sense back then, Suzy's make-over turned out a whole lot helpful than I thought it was for me to adjust in the present day.
