Suzy's eyes widened with a mix of excitement and thrill, and her shocked mouth turned into a wide grin. She inched forward and tilted her head curiously as if trying to find the answer written all over my face. Maybe she found it, maybe she didn't but then then I heard her giggle and she leaned towards me.

"Is Bash some past lover of yours that Missy Cath tried to get her hands on?" Suzy asked with a whispery tone. "Is that one of the reasons perhaps," she paused, her eyes skimming through every twitch on my facial muscles, "that Missy Cath and you have this undeniable hatred for each other?"

My eyes caught a glimpse of a smirk from Ali, and even Becky seemed to be attentive. Despite the current problem discussed as with determining their past aggressors, the topic suddenly shifted towards me without warning.
