"Jain, are you okay?" Priya asked, her voice filled with concern as she rushed to his side.

"Yes," Jain replied, his voice steady as he stood up. The pain and weakness had completely left him, replaced with a burning determination to protect Priyatama.

"What is that thing?" Jain asked, feigning ignorance to keep up the ruse.

Priyatama looked at the dark jinn, her expression a mix of anger and frustration. "It's complicated," she said, trying to find the words. "But she looks like me because..."

The dark jinn interrupted, "Because she's a jinn," it said, glaring at Priyatama. "But she's a failure, a pitiful excuse for one of our kind."
