Capítulo 1: The Day His World Changed
Kyojuro Rengoku was doing his checks and looked up, seeing it was a Lunar Eclipse, and smiled. "Beautiful, what I wouldn't give to be having a wonderful meal at a time like this," he said, smiling and walking; a bright blue circle appeared below him as he walked. Kyojuro thought it was a demon. He started to pull his sword out when a vast bright light happened, and he landed in the middle of the road.
A car tried to get out of the way but hit Kyojuro. They call 911. Kyojuro was out cold. Maria rushed to him, took his sword, laid it down, cut off his shirt, and took his vitals. Maria was worried she moved the hair from his face. "Where are you from" she whispers. She saw his sword and coat. Maria sat with him, waiting until he woke up. Kyojuro shot up, breathing. Maria woke up and stood up. "Okay, big guy calm down," she said. Kyojuro looks around. "Demon, what Demon did this," he said. Maria looks lost. "Demon, what are you talking about," she said, lost as fuck. Kyojuro was breathing. "I saw a bright blue light under my feet and a bright light over me, and then I was here." Maria nods. "You are in Toyko, Japan year 2025; we have been working on time travel; I guess they got it to work," Maria said. Kyojuro grabs his sword. "Okay, no, no," Maria said, laying him back down."We will work on getting you back home, promise," Maria said. Kyojuro nods and lays back down. "What would you like to eat," Maria asks. Kyojuro sat there. "Meso Ramen and glazed sweet potatoes," he said softly. Maria nodded and stood up, and went. A few minutes passed, and she returned, put the food on the table, and smiled. Kyojuro eats. "Thank you," he said. Maria nodded. "I will find you a way home, I promise," she said.
Kyojuro nodded. "Thank you," he said. Maria nods and checks on him, and puts down some clothes. "So you can stay with me in the meantime if that is okay," Maria said. Kyojuro nodded. "Thank you for being so kind," he said. Maria smiles happily. "My shift ends in an hour, okay," she says and goes. Kyojuro was looking around at everything. He noticed his sword and coat still on the wall. Kyojuro sighed, seeing something he recognized. After an hour, Maria smiled at Kyojuro, got the clothes on, picked up his things, and walked out with her staying close to her. Kyojuro stopped smelling something, got some takoyaki, walked off, got some, yelled UMAI at the top of his lungs, got more, and yelled it again. Maria looks, hearing it. "Kyojuro what," she said and paid for it. Kyojruo walked with her, eating. Maria smiled, seeing him smile. "You like good food," she said. Kyojuro nods and throws the trash away. Maria smiled and took him to her place. Kyojuro walks in and looks around, and touches everything. Maria giggles and lets him. "I am going to shower and be back," she says and goes. Kyojuro looked, found the tv remote, turned on the tv, and stared at the screen. "What is this," he asks. Maria looked. "A television," she said.
Maria showered, dressed, walked out, pulled out the sofa, set it up, went over to her kitchen, grabbed a beer, opened it, and took a sip. "you want to try" she asked. Kyojuro took it and drank it. "UMAI,"; he yelled. "okay, you don't need to shout umai," Maria said. Kyojuro nodded and finished the beer. Maria smiled and got him pillows and a blanket. "My room is down the hall, okay," she said. Kyojuro nods and lays down. Maria left her door open and laid down.
