Capítulo 97: Chapter 97 Too Much Physical Contact

••• Charlotte’s POV •••

“Keep your eyes on the target,” Hayden instructed.

He stood behind me with our bodies pressed close together as his hands grabbed both of mine in an attempt to show me the correct posture on how to fire a gun.

“Once you are sure, just fire. Be careful of the momentum and try not to flinch,” he said as he released my hand and placed his arms around my waist to stop me from flinching.

I nodded to tell him that I understood, followed his instruction, and fired - hitting the target on my first try, my hand jerked a little as the momentum surprised me.

“You okay?” he asked.

“Just a little surprised,” I replied. This was the first time I had ever used a gun or any weapon, so the training was kind of fun.

He looked at the target. “Not bad,” he said and stepped back, releasing me from his hold. “Try it again until all the bullets have been spent.”

I followed his order and began firing again with some bullets missing the target, and some hitting.
