A car honk sounded behind me just as I was about to enter my new house, making me turn to see who it was.

“Char!”

Olivia? I trotted to her car and bent down to see her through the opened car window.

“Livie, what are you doing here?”

“Hop in. Since we didn't get to drink yesterday, we are going to a bar now,” she said cheerfully and added, “And no buts. I have good news for you. Come on!”

I could only open the car door and follow her helplessly.

“Livie, you really have nothing to do other than shopping and partying, huh?” I chuckled.

She rolled her eyes and complained, “I had to train yesterday and today! That’s why I need a drink to relax!”

I shook my head helplessly. Her definition of relaxing after a long and hard day of training was to have a drink, while most females preferred to have a spa and massage or just lazying around in the house.
