The make-up artist and hair stylist had just left our bedroom after helping me get ready for Shawn and Abigail’s engagement party when I heard Max say those words from our walk-in closet area.

I rolled my eyes, walked into the closet, and complained, “Why do I have to do it for you? You’ve always been putting it on yourself your whole life. Or you can ask an Omega to do it.”

He had changed into his suit and was currently standing in front of the full-length mirror.

“I’d never asked an Omega to help me put my clothes on, and I have a Luna now - you. So you should be the one helping me with it,” he said arrogantly, making me speechless.
