The naval soldiers below witnessed the gruesome end of their Vice Admiral at the hands of Chen Fan. Their faces were flushed with anger, and their eyes burned with hatred as they glared at Chen Fan.

"Kill! Let's avenge the Vice Admiral together!"

"Every one of us, charge at this pirate together."

"Brothers, unite and rush at him."

These naval soldiers displayed unwavering determination and a fearless spirit as they surged toward Chen Fan.

Chen Fan observed this with indifference, remarking, "If you seek death, I will gladly oblige."

"Thunder Punishment!"

In an instant, Chen Fan's entire body radiated the destructive power of thunder. He raised his hands towards the sky, and the clouds above grew dark. Thunderbolts the size of arms rained down, engulfing the charging naval soldiers.

Fear and the impending doom of death was reflected in their eyes. The thunderstorm was unstoppable, drenching them in a downpour of death.

With thunderous explosions, screams filled the air as the naval soldiers who rushed forward were struck down and turned to ash.

With their strength, they stood no chance against the terrifying power of the thunderstorm. Blood flowed, and their bodies were reduced to fragments.

Even those naval soldiers who remained in the rear could not escape the fate of being devoured by the thunderstorm.

The entire naval branch had become a living hell, and Chen Fan, surrounded by thunder, floated above like a deity of life and death.

He gazed upon the carnage with a cold detachment, showing no mercy to the enemy. The thunder's punishment continued for a mere two or three minutes but resulted in the annihilation of the entire naval division, including those in the rear.

Lafitte, who had been on the verge of madness, watched Chen Fan, who now resembled a devil, with a growing sense of trepidation.

"Let's go!"

Chen Fan had no intention of staying any longer. He fixed his eyes on Lafitte, who stood proudly in the sky, playing with a ball of thunder in his hand.

But his tone did not tolerate dissent, and Lafitte knew that refusal meant certain death.

However, Lafitte had no desire to refuse. A wry smile appeared on his face as he complied. "Yes, Captain."

Lafitte removed his hat, bowed, and followed Chen Fan. In no time, they reached the shoreline, where a pirate ship was anchored a few meters away. It was the same ship that Chen Fan had recently seized. He had torn down the original flag and replaced it with a flag bearing the thunder symbol.

"Captain, how many members are in our pirate crew now?" Lafitte inquired as he quickly adjusted to his new role, taking the helm of the ship.

"Only the two of us," Chen Fan replied calmly.

Lafitte couldn't help but feel a little incredulous upon hearing that there were just the two of them. He wondered if he had joined a pirate crew led by a lunatic.

Despite having just engaged in a fierce battle, Chen Fan had begun working out with push-ups on the deck.

As Lafitte questioned their destination, Chen Fan stood up, pondering where they should head next. With a navigator now aboard, they no longer had to roam aimlessly to find a ship.

Chen Fan aimed to take his pirate crew down an elite path, recruiting exceptionally talented and powerful crew members. Thus, he considered heading directly to the New World, where powerful individuals were more likely to be found.

However, as Chen Fan contemplated their first destination, a newspaper delivery bird suddenly approached.

In an instant, Chen Fan vanished in a flash of thunder, leaving Lafitte astonished. When he returned, he held a newspaper in his hand.

Chen Fan had originally intended to check the latest bounty on his head after their recent exploits. However, as he opened the newspaper, he was captivated by the headline:

"King of the Pirates, Gol D. Roger, Captured by the Marines and Scheduled for Execution in the Rogue Town of the East Blue in One Month!"

Chen Fan couldn't help but do some mental calculations. Indeed, this was the year in which Gol D. Roger had chosen to surrender himself.

Upon seeing this news, Chen Fan decided on their first destination. Witnessing the execution of Gol D. Roger, the former Pirate King, was an event of unparalleled significance.

"Our first stop will be in the East Blue," Chen Fan declared.

"Yes, Captain," Lafitte responded.

Lafitte had also noticed the news and was astonished by the capture of Gol D. Roger. It was rare for someone like Chen Fan, who had inside knowledge about Roger's surrender, to be taken aback.

As the sea breeze rustled and the sun bathed the waves in golden light, Chen Fan's pirate ship, the Thor, set sail in the direction of the East Blue.

On the other side of the sea, Borusalino finally reached the naval branch a few minutes after Chen Fan's departure.

Despite his mastery of the Glint-Glint Fruit powers, the distance proved to be too great, and Agura and his men could not hold out for the fifteen minutes it took him to arrive.

Borusalino's usual nonchalant demeanor changed to a grave expression upon seeing the horrific scene that had unfolded at the naval branch. With a clenched fist, he surveyed the site where numerous charred corpses and a sea of blood lay.

Borusalino was well aware of the fact that Chen Fan had slaughtered everyone in the naval division.

"He's truly fearsome, this Thunder God Chen Fan," Borusalino muttered, his anger and concern evident.

Descending from the sky, he saw that some of the blood had not yet dried. It was evident that Chen Fan had left only recently. Without hesitation, Borusalino emanated a brilliant radiance, disappearing in the blink of an eye as he traversed the sky towards the shore.

However, upon arriving at the shore, all that remained was the distant image of Chen Fan's pirate ship on the boundless sea.

Borusalino recognized that he was too slow and that locating someone on the vast sea was a challenging task.

With a feeling of frustration, Borusalino took a small Den Den Mushi from his pocket and prepared to contact the Marshal's office to report the situation at the branch.

The Thunder God Chen Fan had struck once again.
