Capítulo 44: Saving the Princess

"I see the river, get ready!" Henry took out his sword, readying his weapon for whatever lay await for them on the other side.

His attention was stolen by a peculiar thing he saw that made him halt his horse. At first he doubted his own eyes.

A boy atop the trees holding a human sized girl, that he tossed to their side and was immediately attacked from the back, causing his body to be blasted the opposite direction.

The red hair he saw just at his peripheral broke him out of his stupor and he pushed forwards to his sister. He wasn't sure whether she could take the fall.

He managed to catch her but only just, "Valerie, are you okay?" Seeing her in such a bad shape made him panic for a second.

Even the deep rooted hate he had for her was forgotten in that moment. He was just a big brother worried about his little sister's condition.
