At the sudden arrival of Valerie, Rias and her peerage immediately went on guard, their instincts kicking in to protect their leader. Even the typically tranquil Koneko, who had been sleeping moments before, sprang up like a zombie, positioning herself defensively in front of Rias. Similarly, Kiba reacted swiftly, materializing a sword in his hands as he prepared to defend against any potential threat.
Rias walked past Kiba and Koneko, silently conveying her command for them to remain on guard with a meaningful look. Both the Knight and Rook nodded in acknowledgment, their expressions serious as they prepared to defend their leader against any potential threat. With a shared understanding of their roles, they stood ready to act at a moment's notice, their focus unwavering as they maintained a watchful vigilance.
"Who are you?" Rias inquired of Valerie, her tone serious as she studied the newcomer's attire. A frown creased her features as she recognized the distinctive clothing, prompting her to wonder about Valerie's identity. Though she considered the possibility that Valerie might be a student at their school, Rias quickly dismissed the notion upon realizing that the school year had not yet started.

Puzzled, she mulled over Rias's words internally, trying to make sense of her surroundings. "Occult Research Club? Kuoh? Academy?" Valerie repeated to herself, each term sparking a flicker of recognition. "Am I in a school, perhaps?" she pondered, her mind racing as she scanned her surroundings once more in search of familiar landmarks or clues. "Where is this exactly? I mean, what country am I in right now?" she inquired, her gaze fixed on Rias as she awaited confirmation. Standing there, she felt a sense of urgency to understand her location, hoping that Rias could provide the answers she sought.
Rias nodded in understanding, realizing that Valerie's lack of recognition indicated that she was not a student at their school. With a compassionate gaze, Rias addressed Valerie, seeking to offer reassurance and clarity. "We are currently in Japan, or to be exact, Kuoh, Japan" she explained with a gentle smile, her tone calm and welcoming.
"That is a long way from what I consider home" Valerie remarked with a sigh, her gaze shifting from Rias and her peerage, who remained on guard, to the unfamiliar surroundings. Despite her weariness and confusion, she spoke with a respectful tone, hoping to ease the tension in the room. "I mean no harm" she assured them, raising her arms in a gesture of peace.
"As for your question, I am Valerie Tepes" she introduced herself to the group, her voice steady despite the uncertainty swirling within her. As she awaited their response, Valerie couldn't help but feel a sense of vulnerability, unsure of how they would react to her sudden appearance.
"Then please explain why you are currently here, Valerie" Rias said with a smile as she walked over to the couch and settled down with her legs crossed. "Please, sit while you answer" she gestured to the empty couch, her gaze steady as she signaled for Valerie to remain vigilant despite the relaxed atmosphere.
Kiba and Koneko nodded in acknowledgment of Rias's signal to remain vigilant, their expressions serious as they maintained their guard. Meanwhile, Akeno, Rias's Queen piece, appeared lost in deep thought, her brow furrowed as she attempted to recall something upon hearing Valerie Tepes's name. Sensing that there might be more to Valerie's presence than initially apparent, Akeno focused her attention inward, determined to piece together any missing puzzle pieces.
"I don't really know why I am here, but what I do know is that my savior, Alucard, forcibly teleported me here" Valerie explained with a serious tone, her mind retracing the events that had led to her unexpected arrival. She couldn't help but feel a twinge of concern for Alucard, who might currently be engaged in battle. However, she found solace in his unwavering strength and indifference towards formidable opponents, knowing that he was more than capable of holding his own.
"Alucard who?" Rias questioned, her expression reflecting clear confusion as she turned to her peerage, seeking confirmation if the name rang a bell for any of them. To no ones surprise, they all shook their heads in response, indicating that Alucard was a stranger to them as well.
As Valerie mentioned the term "force teleportation" Akeno's mind immediately flashed to recent events involving a similar occurrence. She recalled a recent incident where a certain individual had employed such a technique against them or to be exact to the to all the Devils at that time except her and Rias, someone whom Rias and her held dear. With a smile on her face, Akeno turned her attention to Valerie, a glimmer of hope igniting within her as she posed a question. "Do you know Oreki?"
Valarie frown at first but she remember what Alucard said before teleportng her here" Alucard did say that that I should say that Oreki says hi" she said in casual tone before asking "Do you know this Oreki?" she tilt her head in confusion.
Upon hearing Akeno's question and Valerie's answer, Rias couldn't help but let out a sigh, her palm meeting her forehead in exasperation. However, she quickly regained her composure and turned to Akeno, acknowledging the situation with a resigned smile. "As soon as we started talking about him bringing girls here" she remarked, her tone a mixture of amusement and weariness. With a nod towards Valerie, "Here it is the new girl to the harem" she presented her as the newest addition to their unusual circle, accepting the inevitability of Oreki's penchant for attracting unexpected company.

Observing Valerie's perplexity, Rias intervened with a gentle smile, raising her finger to emphasize her point. "Let's clarify one thing" she began, her tone reassuring as she addressed the confusion. "The Alucard you met is Oreki" she explained, her gaze briefly meeting Akeno's before returning to Valerie. "He is our future husband or boyfriend" she continued, her words accompanied by a shared smile between herself and Akeno. With a nod of affirmation, Rias added, "And you might be a potential harem member" her tone casual as she spoke, conveying a sense of acceptance.
"Eh?!" Valerie uttered a strange sound, her gaze darting back and forth between Akeno and Rias as she processed their words. After a moment of hesitation, she settled into her seat, her movements betraying her inner turmoil as she began to fidget nervously. "I mean... if this is the payment he... he wants for helping me then" she paused, "I will gladly join his harem but.." her voice gaining confidence as she voiced her willingness to accept Oreki's terms. However, her resolve wavered as she glanced at Akeno and Rias, her tone growing timid as she sought their approval. "Is it alright for you guys to let me join?" she asked softly, her head bowing slightly in uncertainty.
"Of course, it's okay" Akeno replied with a smile on her face, her reassuring tone easing Valerie's nerves. Then, with a playful chuckle, she added, "besides I don't think we can stop his dick for dicking around"
Hearing Akeno's joke, Rias chuckled as well, her laughter adding to the light-hearted atmosphere in the room. "And add to the fact that in our devil society, harems are allowed. Even here in Japan, harems are permitted" she explained with a smile, her gaze resting kindly on Valerie. "So yes, you are allowed to join the harem" she reassured Valerie, making it clear that her joining would not be an issue.
"You do know we're devils, right?" Rias asked Valerie with a smile, her tone light and teasing as she awaited Valerie's response. It was a gentle reminder of their supernatural nature, delivered with warmth and humor.
"No, Aluc... I mean Oreki did not tell me" Valerie answered honestly to Rias's question, her tone sincere as she acknowledged her lack of prior knowledge about their devilish nature. However, she quickly added, "But I do know you guys exist, as I've met devils in the past." Her nod emphasized her assertion.
"Right, I forgot to introduce ourselves" Rias chuckled at her oversight before turning to Valerie to rectify it. "I'm Rias Gremory, Heir to Gremory" she introduced herself with a warm smile, gesturing for her peerage to follow suit.
"I'm Himejima Akeno, her Queen piece" Akeno proudly declared, her smile radiating confidence and grace. Koneko simply stated her name, "Tojou Koneko" with a quiet demeanor that belied her strength. Lastly, Kiba bowed respectfully, introducing himself as "Kiba Yuuto, the Knight piece of Lady Rias" his gesture of respect accompanied by a hand placed over his chest.
Valerie nodded, affirming her introduction. "Then I'm Valerie Tepes, a Dhampir" she reiterated with a smile, eager to establish her identity among her new friends. With a hint of curiosity, she posed a question to the group, "You do know I'm a Dhampir, right?"
"Now that you mention it" Rias leaned forward, her gaze narrowing in curiosity as she observed Valerie's features. Holding her chin in thought, she noted, "You do have red eyes, just like a vampire." With a nod of affirmation, she continued, "So, are you half-half"
Valerie nodded with a smile before she could continue her introduction, but Akeno interrupted her with a sudden shout. "I knew it!" Akeno exclaimed, her excitement evident in her voice as she seemed to have already guessed something.
