I was reading at webnovel as usual , when suddenly a strange research ad appears to me. The first question was presented like that:
If you where given the oportunity of reincarnating in ASOIAF( game of thrones book version) to complete the mission of protecting the Roynar from the Valyrian Empire would you?
[ ] Yes
[ ] No
I marked yes, because I guess that the questionnaire would end, if I marked otherwise; and I was quite curious of what this all was about. Was this a new form of research to produce fanfic context? The best question was:
If your given a boon(wish), to help on your mission what would it be ( No omnipotence, omniscience and more(Click here to see the complete list)?
[ ]
I clicked to see the complete list, and what a damn long list it was. It listed hundreds of powers from dc, marvels, animes, and many more; some of which I have never heard before. So I chose something that seems cool to me, and that was not a weak power as ASOIAF world is dangerous, deciding that I would reincarnate as a character so that I, in fact, I would get all his abilities, bloodline, and items.
Some very overpower characters have some of their abilities and treasures blocked by the list. So I chose the closest to overpower that I could remember and that have a cool history, Karna. I knew there's quite a divided opinion about Karna, mostly because of his blind obdience to Duryodhana, but I find him quite interesting as a character. His way of living based on his principles, with his loyalty and his extreme charitabable( that eventually got him killed). Though, I do not think is a ideal way to live is at somepoint admirable.
In fact, I have first heard about him in some fate fanfics, but ironically I have not lever watched fate. With it I became sort of interested in reading about the Mahabharata, being it real history with a supernatural touch added or just a good way of understanding the principles that represent a era in Indian culture, it surely seem interesting, though languages barrier would probably a problem. An it would surely be difficult to evaluate it an translated version as the laguages and culture are do apart from what I'm used to.
The last question was:
How would you like to die? What would be your reincarnation conditions?
[ ]
I asked myself if this question was not too much for a questionnaire about a fanfic. So, thought to take it as a joke, and answer what kind of death I would like prior to isekai. I would like that "after living a long fulfilled life, for at least a century more, where I also read and decorated a whole package of Kingdom-building knowledge like :Four crop rotation,. Seed drills. All blueprints of tecnological evolution from the first industrial revolution to the present. Military strategies. Advanced medical knowledge. Besides knowledge useful for warriors( with martial arts and yoga). Though, the second not for war, but just to increase the understanding of my own body and the meditation that will surelly do well; finally decorading all knowledge of asoiaf. I would die by experience painless death at my sleep. And of course reincarnating with all this knowledgde memories, but without to much atractment to my past life.
And so I lived a good but ordinary life, for a century, though some time I got a strange compulsion that make me read and acumulate some random kingdom building knowledge. Then, it happened I died.
