Capítulo 115: Journey Begins
Alex walked through the parking lot, looking at the old orange truck one last time before he turned around and walked out.
Walking down the street, Alex's mind was swirling with thoughts, and yet it was calm so unlike what it had been the last few months he had stayed here in Forks.
It felt like a large burden had finally been removed from his shoulders.
With no immediate threat to Bella or Charlie who he had taken wholeheartedly as his real family in this world, Alex could finally relax and do what he wanted.
Back in his past life, Alex hadn't been well off and had always dreamed of having an adventure, of traveling the world and now that dream had started to come true.
Not to mention that he was now most likely the strongest being on earth, he had clearly seen the difference between him and the vampires of this world and it wasn't even close.
Alex was strong enough that he didn't have to fear anyone or anything anymore.
He was truly free.
People might say that absolute strength absolutely corrupts but it is also the only way to achieve true freedom.
After about an hour's walk with his backpack slung over his shoulder, Alex arrived at the bus station.
From what he had found out, it wouldn't take more than half an hour for it to arrive and for his journey to truly begin.
Looking around, Alex found only four people at the station, it seemed like not a lot of the people of Forks traveled, and if they did they usually took their cars.
Sitting down on a bench, Alex waited.
The wait thankfully as he had expected wasn't long and soon the bus arrived.
Opening its doors, Alex headed inside and took a seat at the far back of the Bus.
Soon with a rumble, the bus started driving off towards Port Angels.
The ride would take a few hours so Alex brought his phone out instinctively but then found himself stumped.
'There's nothing interesting to look at on this dumb phone' Alex thought as he sighed and looked outside the window at the passing trees.
He had decided to go with a bus instead of running off toward Port Angels.
He wanted to enjoy this time and he wasn't in any rush to get to Port Angels any quicker, his work would have to be done at night time either way.
'First plan of business is taking control of the entire Port Angels underworld.' Alex thought as he rubbed his chin.
'It's simple enough, I'll just use daze on all of them and make them go under my command, leaving them no way to betray or go against me. After that, I'll use their existing businesses and turn them into something that I find acceptable. I'll stop the murder and stealing but drug selling isn't something I'm totally against if the people are looking for it themselves. Of course, no getting people addicted without them knowing or any of that shit' Alex thought as he hummed, watching the bus get filled with more and more people with each bus station they passed by.
Soon enough after about two hours, the bus was almost full. Thankfully no one had decided to sit next to Alex.
Maybe it was because of the aura he was releasing or maybe it was that he furrowed his brows at anyone who even came close.
Either way dealing with humans was easy enough, after finishing his task in Port Angels would come the harder part.
'Finding more about my past self. I'll be going to Phoenix Arizona, the first place I should check is Alex's past high school and middle school, heck even his elementary school is something I should look into. Any and every social connection he had, everything. I won't leave a single dark spot until I find out the truth behind this body'
The hours passed and finally, The bus stopped.
Alex had arrived at Port Angels.
Taking his phone out, Alex messaged Charlie that he had arrived and would be going to his hotel soon to get situated. He also sent a similar text to Alice and Bella.
Walking down the streets of the now somewhat familiar city, Alex found himself relaxed.
What he had planned for tonight was something that only a madman would do, wrecking the entire gangs of a city like Port Angels in one night and then taking them all under his control was not something a single human could do, even in their lifetime.
Thankfully, Alex wasn't human.
The walk to the Hotel he had reserved was short and after heading inside and talking to the reception, he quickly got his room number and keys and headed upstairs to his room.
Opening the door, Alex found a small room with a single bed on the side and a door on the other side of it that connected to an even smaller bathroom.
It was fine however as Alex didn't really plan on staying inside his room for long.
Quickly he took out all of his clothes outside of his backpack and placed them on his bed.
He held something in his hand, however.
It was a large red coat that he had bought with almost his entire money reserves.
Putting it aside on the bed, Alex took two more pieces of clothing and placed them next to the red coat.
One was a red cap and the other was a pair of entirely black army-like pants.
This was what he had decided his outfit would be when he was working in the underworld.
'I tried my hardest to find clothes that resembled Alucard but this was the best I could find without looking like a total hillbilly' Alex thought and then took one last thing from the side pocket of his backpack.
It was a pair of round orange glasses.
'It's finally time that this world learns of the name Alucard isn't it' Alex thought as a large smile appeared on his face.
That's right, Alex's pseudonym would be Alucard.
The Ruler of the Underworld.
