Artisan flew the ship back to Tamaran and entered it's air space as he flew the ship to the courtyard of the royal family. The people there already knew what his ship looks like so he didn't have any problems in landing the spaceship as the back opened and Artisan walked out, followed by Talathus.
The former queen walked out of the spaceship and looked in front and her eyes widened when she saw Mythus and his wife Luand'r, the king himself is looking at them in shock as he couldn't believe his eyes.
"Mother." Mythus said with emotion as he walked to her.
"My son." Talathus said as she ran to her child.
Soon the mother went and hugged her son as Mythus returned the hug and the two shed tears at being able to embrace each other again. Artisan smiled at the sight and caught Luand'r shedding a tear at the sight. The mother and son stayed in the embrace for a few minutes before they stopped hugging each other.
They talked a bit before they turned to him with smiles on their faces as they faced him.
"Thank you for saving my mother. I cannot express the gratitude I have for you." Mythus said to him with a grateful look.
"Thank you for saving my people, Lord." Talathus said with a grateful tone.
"It's fine. I believe that there is going to be a celebration. I can see that you are thinking about it." Artisan said as he looked at Mythus with a smile.
"You are right. You have given us freedom from the Citadelians and have now also freed my mother from them. We have to celebrate this." Mythus said to him as he smiled.
"I agree with my husband. It has been a long time since we have managed to experience such joy, and we have also managed to get our former queen back as well. This is something that must be celebrated." Luand'r said to him with a smile on her face.
"Of course. But first you should take your mother and give her a comfortable and wonderful bath. She had been deprived of those luxuries for enough time." Artisan said to him as he nodded at that.
"Thank you. Come mother." Mythus said as he guided his mother.
"What about Lord Artisan?" Talathus asked him as she looked at the Time Lord.
"I already have a room for myself in the castle. You do not have to worry." Artisan said to her with a smile.
"Oh, I'm glad to hear it." Talathus said with a smile and a nod before she went with her son.
"Would you like anything to be brought to your room, Lord Artisan?" Luand'r asked him with a smile.
"Not at the moment. But I do not think you need to always call me Lord." Artisan said to her with a smile as he walked to her.
"You are our saviour and have brought us freedom from the Citadelians, it would be disrespectful if we were to not treat you with the respect you deserve." Luand'r said to him as the guards stationed there slightly nodded in response.
"If that is how you wish to call me to honour my actions, then that is your decision." Artisan said as he realised that it would be hard to make them stop calling him that.
'Well, I did save them from slavery from an enemy and helped in their technology as well, so I am a saviour of their species. I guess I can understand the sentiment.' Artisan thought to himself as he walked inside the castle.
He could go to the home that was gifted to him, but he knew that he would have to come to the castle again, so he has decided to go to the room which was given to him during his stay in here.
'Well, I guess I should stay here until the celebration ends.' Artisan thought to himself as he decided to sleep for a few minutes as he knew that it will take some time for the celebrations to begin and end.
Timeskip
The celebration was grand and it went on for an entire week as the people celebrated their freedom and the return of their former queen. And due to his own actions his fame in the planet had increased tenfold and he was celebrated.
It has reached a point where they even named the day he saved them after him and made it a holiday so to speak, as during this day they will celebrate their freedom and himself. It has gotten to the point where they had even erected a statue of himself in the middle of the city and in the courtyard of the royal family.
Artisan hadn't expected his help to have such an impact as he honestly wasn't expecting them to love him this much. But he supposed that having the love and trust of an entire race of aliens is a good thing in the long run, as he might be able to ask for their assistance should he be short handed for any reason.
In the end, he decided to let them do as they wished as he knew that it isn't uncommon for heroes to be celebrated for their deeds, and giving freedom to an entire race is a pretty big deal after all.
With that in mind, she spent a few more days in the planet and he spent time with the royal family and also talked with Talathus as he wanted to know how the planet was before the Citadelians captured her and took her away.
It was quite informative and he enjoyed the talk he had with her. And soon it was time for him to depart from the planet again, and this time, the entire population had come to see him go.
"I suppose I should've expected this to happen." Artisan said as he chuckled at the people gathered there.
"We all wish to see you go." Mythus said to him calmly.
"Perhaps, I did enjoy my time in here. And I do hope that you will train your people and learn more to protect yourselves better in the future." Artisan said to him with a smile as he looked at the royal family.
"We will do our best." Luand'r said to him as she gave him a slight bow.
"Thank you for all the help that you have given us." Talathus said to him with a grateful tone.
"I am happy to help. I will visit this planet again after I have travelled for some time, so I will be waiting to see how much you have improved in the future." Artisan said to them with a smile.
"Then we shall try to not disappoint you Lord Artisan." Mythus said respectfully.
Artisan nodded at that and then turned to the gathered people and waved at them as they cheered and waved back. He then gave a speech about his desire to journey the cosmos and to help other races that are in need of his help.
He told them about how he will come back to the planet again in the future and that he will be curious to know how much they have managed to improve in the future and hopes that they will have become even stronger than the current time.
This riled up the gathered people as they chanted his name and promised to make him proud and that they will become more powerful in the future. This reassured the Artisan as he gave them another wave before he had small talk with the royal family.
Then he entered his ship and then left the planet under the eyes of its people as he looked at the planet one more time before he zoomed away through space. He looked at the map and made sure that he was on the correct track as he wondered what kind of things he will get to experience now.
'I have definitely made myself the enemies of the Citadelians, but considering how they have always relied on cloning to increase their numbers, I can already see that they will die out. Though I guess there are other dangerous aliens in the universe so I have to be careful and perhaps create more things for myself to use as well. Well, all in due time.' Artisan thought to himself as he flew his ship.
A/N: What do you want him to do next cause I don't read the comics and there is honestly a lot of things in here and I don't know much alien events that happens. So I could use some help in that regard as it might help me make a good story. Thanks for reading.
