Capítulo 26: A little journey
Mihael was back in the academy.
And without really going to class, he went to the headmistress's office.
"You- wanted to see me?" The headmistress spoke, confused.
He came alone. Sarveisa was in the teachers lounge.
"Yes." He stood before her, not a trace of any emotion even on his baby face. "I wish to graduate all of your classes."
"I believe we already made an exemption by not only admitting you but also letting you progress two years."
"That is correct. But you have nothing to teach me."
"Nothing to-" a breath. "Did you read every book this academy had to offer?"
"Yes. Every single one of them."
"Quite a few of our teachers are on vacation. Once they get back surely they can-"
"Then call them back, have them test me. Actually, you may even ask all of your god candidates to come and attack me and see for themselves, if anyone has any doubts."
Arnine sighed, a hand on her head. "I'll think about it…"

In a new class, Mihael sat down on the first bench.
Everyone stared but no one said a thing-
Despite being two and a half, he was already on the third grade. And if everything went according to plan, within the next month, he'd graduate this place and he on his way to-
Become a god.
But-
'Then what?'
Yeah-
Life here was fun.
But- that's only because for the last few days he had experienced new things.
But those things would eventually run out. Once he became a god, things would just stop progressing. He wouldn't have free reign and-
Wait-
'Wouldn't that make me the same as the last-'
Mihael froze-
The teacher came, everyone stood but- Mihael just remained frozen…
'Demon…' a feeling.
A very bad feeling.
He couldn't put a finger to it, but he could feel it.
He could feel it…
'Of all things…'
"Mihael?" The teacher called.
"Yes?"
"I was told to treat you impartially despite your age gap and circumstances."
"Do what you wish."
"That I will. Now if you will please explain your lack of faith in academy rules. When a teacher or an elder comes in, you would do well to remember that you must at least show respect by standing." Black robe, big wings, and a sharp gaze-
Mihael didn't respond.
The teacher sighed once but started his lecture on mana particles.

Throughout the rest of the classes, Mihael didn't sleep.
But he didn't quite focus on class either.
If anything-
He was too absentminded.
Gerar Ayne Argustine was a name engraved in his soul.
It was given to him by lord Salvador Argustine- the demon lord of old-
A man he thought was the strongest in the world for some reason.
But no- he was the strongest…
He did think he possessed demonic abilities but to be a demon-
And if his reasoning wasn't a farce- he could prophesize for certain that he was a demon lord himself.
But-
Demons couldn't be reborn as angels.
That was the fundamental truth.
And surely not him- the very same person who'd tortured, killed, destroyed-
Yet-
'Something- something doesn't make sense.'
He was a firm believer of let bygones be bygones.
Yet- he couldn't let it go this time.
It shouldn't have bothered him-
But-
It did.
So much so that- even on his kiddy forehead- a vein throbbed.
Standing up-
"What's wrong?"
It was the last class- Serveisa's class.
"I'm going out for a little journey."
"TO where?"
"The Supreme Chapel."
"Ex-excuse me!?"
