As dusk approached, the battle showed no signs of abating. Cao Cao now was much calmer than before, after receiving the allegiance of Zhang He, Gao Lan, Tian Febg, and Xu You. Where they would bring a large number of men and domain to his side, and the tide of battle would turn in his favor soon, and all he needs is to hold out until that time arrived which was an easy task for him.

As he thought so, suddenly Cao Cao heard a very loud sound of metal clashing against each other. He immediately goes out and sees from above his mightiest general Xu Chu is having a duel with Dian Wei, one of Lie Fan's strongest and famed generals who had fought with Lu Bu in the past.

The duel between Xu Chu and Dian Wei was a spectacle to behold. Each clash of their weapons echoed through the battlefield, not only drawing Cao Cao's attention but the attention of everyone on both sides.

The sheer raw power from their strikes sent shockwaves that could be felt through the stone walls of Hulao Pass, creating small tremors that added to the chaos of the ongoing battle.

Xu Chu, with his massive mace, swung with the strength of a raging bull, aiming to crush Dian Wei with each blow. Dian Wei, wielding his twin halberd-jis with strength and precision, countered each attack with heavy and calculated movements.

Their ferocity was unmatched, as they pushed each other to the limits of their endurance with their adrenaline pumping the rush they felt through the entirety of their body, finally finding someone who could match their raw strength.

Cao Cao watched the duel from his position, impressed by Xu Chu's unwavering determination. "Zhongkang is the ultimate term of raw strength and a force to be reckoned with," he muttered to Guo Jia, who stood by his side. "But Dian Wei is no ordinary warrior either, he is one of the three people who defeated Lu Bu at the height of his physique."

Guo Jia nodded, his keen eyes analyzing the situation. "Indeed, my lord. Their duel serves as a symbol that not only Lie Fan, you also have a general as strong as a bull and an ox. As long as General Xu Chu holds his ground, our men will be inspired to fight on."

On the other side, Lie Fan observed the duel with equal intensity from his platform. "Dian Wei is giving his all, even me and Hansheng can't take his strength head on." he remarked to Xun You, who stood nearby. "His strength is incredible, but we must remain focused on the larger battle. Ensure our forces maintain the pressure on the eastern wall."

Xun You nodded and relayed the orders. The soldiers, though momentarily distracted by the epic duel, quickly returned to their tasks, knowing the outcome of the larger battle depended on their efforts.

As the duel continued, Xu Chu and Dian Wei showed no signs of slowing down. Their weapons clashed in a flurry of powerful strikes and deft parries, each trying to outmaneuver the other. Sweat and blood mingled on their bodies, but their spirit never wavered.

The soldiers from both sides, though cautious to avoid the area of their duel, couldn't help but cheer for their respective generals. The atmosphere was charged with excitement and tension, as the battle for Hulao Pass raged on around them.

Finally, with a surge of strength, Xu Chu managed to land a heavy blow on one of Dian Wei's halberds, sending him stumbling back a couple of steps.

Dian Wei quickly recovered, his eyes burning with fire. He lunged forward with renewed vigor, launching a series of rapid and powerful strikes that forced Xu Chu to go on the defensive.

The duel seemed to reach a climax, with both warriors pushing themselves to the brink of their stamina, with no one word even exchanged between the two of them.

As Dian Wei launched a series of rapid and powerful strikes on Xu Chu, Xu Chu saw an opportunity to turn the favor back to his side and take it. His great mace collided with Dian Wei's pair of halberd-ji's, and due to the raw power the both of them use with their weapon come in contact, it soared away and fell down several steps away from them.

The two of them take a deep breath while keep looking at each other with high intensity with fire burning in their eyes, and when everyone though they are going to take their weapons, the two of them move at a speed no one expected the man of their size could have toward each other and turned their duel into a hand to hand combat.

The situation onHulao Pass grew even more intense as the duel between Xu Chu and Dian Wei transformed into a brutal hand-to-hand combat. The two heavyweights clashed with raw, primal strength, grappling and throwing powerful punches, each one landing with a resounding thud that echoed through the battlefield.

Xu Chu, with his massive frame, used his size to his advantage, attempting to overpower Dian Wei with sheer force. Dian Wei, smaller but incredibly strong and more agile, countered with quick, precise strikes, aiming for Xu Chu's vital points. The two warriors were locked in a deadly dance, neither willing to give an inch.

The soldiers on both sides watched in awe and disbelief. The sight of their generals engaging in such a ferocious brawl without weapons was both terrifying and inspiring. It spurred them on, filling them with renewed vigor as they fought their own battles on the ground below.

Bloodied but undeterred, Xu Chu and Dian Wei exchanged blow after blow, each one feeling the immense strain of the prolonged fight. Sweat poured down their faces, mixing with the dust and blood, but their eyes remained locked on each other, filled with unyielding resolve.

With a surge of energy, Xu Chu managed to land a powerful punch to Dian Wei's chest, staggering him momentarily. Dian Wei, refusing to be outdone, responded with a swift knee to Xu Chu's midsection, forcing the larger man to double over in pain. They grappled fiercely, muscles straining and veins bulging, each one seeking to gain the upper hand.

The onlookers were captivated, their cheers and shouts adding to the cacophony of the battlefield. This duel had become a symbol of the larger conflict, embodying the raw power and unbreakable spirit of both armies.

While everyone's attention was on the brawl between Xu Chu and Dian Wei, Xiahou Yuan saw an opportunity that he immediately took which was to snipe at Lie Fan, who was standing on the platform across from Hulao Pass.

Relying on his incredible eyesight and archery skills, he takes the shot that he knew was a one-time shot, and his arrow immediately flies toward Lie Fan at a high speed.

Xiahou Yuan's heart pounded as he watched his arrow slice through the air, aimed perfectly at Lie Fan. The shot was true, his aim impeccable, and for a moment, it seemed as if nothing could stop the arrow from finding its mark.

But Lie Fan, with almost supernatural reflexes, tilted his head just enough to avoid the deadly projectile. The arrow whistled past him, embedding itself deep into the wooden floor behind Lie Fan.

The near miss drew a gasp from everyone around Lie Fan including his advisors and bodyguards, not expecting that such a thing could happen.

Xiahou Yuan cursed under his breath as he saw this, frustrated but undeterred. He quickly nocked another arrow, ready to take advantage of the chaos below. Meanwhile, Xu Chu and Dian Wei continued their brutal exchange, oblivious to the action that Xiahou Yuan had just taken that could change the battle and even the course of the land.

Lie Fan, fully aware of how close he had come to death, remained calm. His eyes scanned the across Hulao Pass wall, searching for the archer who had taken the shot.

When he spotted Xiahou Yuan in the distance, he signaled to his bodyguards, who immediately moved to surround him to shield him from Xiahou Yuan's attempt to take another shot at him.

Xiahou Yuan, seeing that Lie Fan had ordered his bodyguards to surround him, cursed under his breath, regretting that he missed the single chance that could have turned the tide of this battle and even the course of the land by injuring or even killing Lie Fan.

Unbeknownst to him, however, Lie Fan reached for the Phoenix Bow he had never used before, which he put behind him alongside his halberd and the unlimited arrow sleeve before the battle commenced after taking it out from his inventory.

With a swift motion, Lie Fan drew an arrow and signaled his bodyguards to move out of the way. As they parted, creating a clear line of sight, Lie Fan's eyes locked onto Xiahou Yuan's position.

He nocked the arrow, his hands steady and his focus unwavering. The moment seemed to stretch into eternity before he released the bowstring and let the arrow fly toward Xiahou Yuan.

The arrow flew true, slicing through the air with lethal precision. Xiahou Yuan, sensing the impending danger, attempted to dodge, but the arrow found its mark, piercing his shoulder with a sickening thud.

Pain shot through him, and he staggered, clutching at the wound as he dropped his bow which prices a clattering sound that immediately attracted the attention of his soldiers.

The soldiers around Xiahou Yuan, seeing their leader injured, immediately panicked, and moved to help Xiahou Yuan with their morale wavering as they never expected to see this to happen.

Lie Fan seeing that his shot hit his target let out a smile, as Jia Xu and Xun You who stood behind him praised Lie Fan for his accuracy, managing to hit Xiahou Yuan from such distance.

"No need to praise me, Wenhe and Gongda. Actually, my skills weren't good enough, as I targeted the arrow to hit Xiahiu Yuan's head but he either sensed the danger or his instinct kicked in to move avoiding the blow." Lie Fan said those words in response to Jia Xu and Xun You, as he put back the Phoenix Bow.

On the other side, Cao Cao who was watching the brawl between Xu Chu and Dian Wei alongside Guo Jia and Xi Zhicai, received the news that Xiahou Yuan was wounded as he got shit by an arrow on his shoulder. "What?! How could Miaocai get hurt?! Immediately take me to see him!" Cao Cao said the words to the soldier and immediately guided Cao Cao who was followed by Guo Jia and Xi Zhicai toward Xiahou Yuan.
