Sinopse
Sophia was adopted when she was a kid, a dream come true for orphans. However Her life was anything but happy, her fiance whom she harbored intense love for 10 years cruelly exploited her and used her as a prawn to lure a deranged murderer targeting his lover.
It is a horrible thing for your loved one to betray you, especially in a tragic manner. It seemed she was spurred by the complete despair over having nothing and no one to live for. Therefore, she surrendered without a fight. However, after her death.
One would not expect a woman like Sophia, someone small as a caterpillar or even a dung beetle to be reborn, But here she is—perhaps she might have saved a kingdom in another life, or maybe God pitied her. She finds herself reincarnated as a timid and obedient wife of a billionaire.
Sophia decides she wants revenge that could ruin her fiance and lover's life.
And the only way to do that was to get pregnant with her billionaire husband's child!
Dexter Black was the illegitimate son of a wealthy family, their marriage was nothing but a benefit for the two families. He could choose anyone to be his bride but the moment he laid his eyes on her,he knew she was the one he wanted. Dexter knows that there is something mysterious going on around her. She got a mystifying background. But he doesn't care about who she was in the past and why they keep attacking her. All he can think of is loving her, cherishing her, locking her up so that she will never return to her past. Because he knows that he won't be able to live a moment away from her.
Would their marriage be a romantic tale or utter disaster?
~ Except~
"Wait, let me get this straight," she says, her voice rising.
"You want me to get pregnant?"
Alexander's face remains impassive. "They, yeah."
Sophia stares at him, searching for signs of a head injury or a hidden camera crew. Finding neither, she decides this must be his twisted form of play.
"You're going crazy," she announces, grabbing her things. "I'm leaving."
She's halfway to the door when his words stop her cold.
"It's either you get pregnant, or they won't allow you to leave until you are," Alexander says calmly.
She pauses to process his words.

Escreva uma avaliaçãoThis book was in my “Daily Recommendation list” and I’m so glad that it was. After reading the free chapters I was hooked. The story is great and captivating! I love the mystery of it😍
Well, I won't belittle the author and whoever enjoys this kind of thing, but I do believe this book needs a loud trigger warning. So I'll try to do that here FL is constantly sexually assaulted and harassed. FL and ML are forced to sleep together, basically treated like animals for a good 100+ chapters. Frustrating misunderstandings Relationship of FL and ML is EXTREMELY toxic. I'll quote some extracts: "Will you commit s***de for me?" FL to ML and he nods. "If you don't listen to me I'll leave you." ML is obviously in need of serious mental care, but even after he does some very concerning things to himself, FL goes off to get revenge. FL still talks to the one who assaulted her numerous times in a calm manner. Misuse of pronouns and names
Female lead is likable, but whole book so far is just her being wronged over and over... very little of the face- slapping I love. The male lead is non-functioning mentally ill. writing is good, but I feel eh and need some satisfaction
Revelar SpoilerThe book is good, the storyline is great but what I want understand is why was the character Dexter and Sofia’s life so unresonably twisted And the if the Coleman’s (parents) really cared about Sophia how come they weren’t notified and involved during the investigation it was always Damien who’s is silly cuz his mom knows he mistreated her a lot I simply feel his mom should have had some strong reaction when she found out that he had r*ped Sophia, allowed his friends to sexually assault/harasse her and that she was actually pregnant and two lives were lost Inconclusion amazing work so far tho author 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼well done💯
She’s not reborn until chapter 33. The same points are made over and over and over again.
Revelar SpoilerThis book is a huge departure from the norm. It is insanely good and if the grammar mistakes are corrected it will probably go way past this platform. It is so different. Incredibly intense. I recommend keeping a fluff book around when you need a short break from the heart pounding and wrenching book that this is. I look forward to some happy time. Goodness I hope there are some😂😂
Wow! Just wow. I am continually amazed as the story moves on. The author did a good job of creating suspense and unraveling mysteries. 100 percent recommend if you like thrillers and mystery with a hint of paranormal. There are a few name mix ups here and there, but nothing that really disrupts the readers from getting captivated. Really a hidden treasure.
To start things off, let's just say if you don't want to be angered by the 1 dimensional vehemence the side characters have for the fl, you should probably dodge this book. I managed to read all the free chapters painfully, waiting for things to get better in terms of learning something of substance, but all I got was a scrambled mess of wasted potential. The idea for this book is really interesting minus the the sexual assault that even the police seemed to diminuise as prostitution. However, the execution is excruciating and gives the reader no relief, but baring in mind, I only read 21 chapters, I'll cut it some slack. There were, however, many aspects that could have been explored better in those 21 chapters. For example, a better idea of why the FL felt so strongly for the prick Damien and more insight into what spurred him to so much hatred. It would also have been nice to see Damiens mothers thoughts considering the fact that well I don't know her BEST FRIENDS daughter was being abused under her own house. The pure lack of sympathy or humanity Damiens so called friends had was deeply concerning because it was all 2Dimensional it was almost primitive and nothing was explained. Damien kept mentioning that Sophia would constantly scheme to marry him however no examples were given and no sort of actual story the reader could pair his unwarranted hatred to. Overall, the major problems I have with this book are that it's gotta the potential to be much more than what it is but unfortunately it isn't. Sorry if I offended anyone with this review 😍
Revelar Spoiler23 Chapters in and the book is just bad situations for the FL. Why doesn't the synopsis of the book say that the FL died? IT'S LITERALLY IN THE FIRST CHAPTER! I haven't gotten to the part where she's reborn. The writing style is fine. There are some weird parts where the author mixes up their own character names. I would not recommend because it seems like the author is just padding the beginning chapters with stories detailing the misery and abuse the FL went through. FL is likeable, but I have trouble reading just how much SA and abuse she's gone through. I skipped through a chapter and didn't miss anything of importance.
I would say I love this book it’s different BUT the name mistakes are killing me that I’ll have to drop the book. Often times they change the persons name completely or call Dexter Damien or the similar names but different spelling like come on Sofia and Sophia are the same name it gets confusing also repeated paragraphs within the chapters is a waste of money so sad I really liked the plot.

I really don’t know what kind of people like this book. The FL is brutally raped many times by the first ML and sexually assaulted. He has no reason to be that evil even if she hurt someone he “loved”. How can someone that cruel love anyone? And how could the FL be so weak to love someone who treated her like that? I was trying to get to the part where she was reborn but I can’t tolerate this storyline any further.
