Capítulo 76: No excuses...

"Oh, That was you... That's why I don't remember! Didn't I say that such a handsome face hard to forget!" She smiled, but her heart was in a frenzy. She felt her head was exploded, trying to find excuses for her previous behavior but it was futile.

She lowered her eyes and bit her lips hard restlessly.

'I was very rude to Viv in the previous lifetime. Inconsiderate of his feelings. His pain and hurt! Though I have changed, I can't deny that the old Ira was me.'

When on a blind date she was usually not rude. Ira would rather ignore them than defy them. It was not her nature to argue or even clarify herself to a stranger.

She escaped most of her blind dates by the very popular 'ignoring him' plan. She used to be busy with her phone and wouldn't put her phone down. She never even looked them maybe once or twice, and the only thing she contributed to the conversation was, 'Yeah. Nope. Oh.'

She never wanted to waste a moment or even a thought on those men.

Utmost all them left within a few minutes of the date. So, Dad, this time ordered her to make him stay there for at least an hour. He forced her to attend the date instead of a conference in the US.

Ira was spoiled and willful. She did whatever she wanted. Having already decided not to marry anyone, Ira was stubborn to the end. To show her rebellion against her dad, she deliberately made him wait.

But the only time she decided to reveal her evil side was precisely the most crucial moment for them.

"I'm sorry that you have to face that. I'm uncomfortable with how I behaved that day because I realized I might have offended you. " She had a longing look in her eyes.

Ira has to face this fact with courage. She knew Viv will forgive her if she was sincere in her efforts.

Now that she loved him truly, Ira understood his distress. Waiting for someone for hours and then deliberately teasing him for waiting so long.

'He would have been furious over me. I guessed that my date would be unpleasant, but I screwed up far worse than I imagined. My first impression was a disaster.'
