Capítulo 2: Chapter 2: So you’re my father

"Ah, well, it was nice to get that off my chest. The lying and having to come up with alibis were getting tiring. I've confessed; will I be in heaven or hell?"

"You will be in neither," said a deep voice that seemed to echo all around me, booming so loud that it felt like it popped my eardrums—if I even had any. "Look at me, child."

When I opened my eyes, I was still lying down, my body the same as it was when I died. But what shocked me was that I didn't have skin; I was a red light with a black outline, lying on a flat rock. In front of me was pure darkness and four red eyes that seemed to see right through me and into my soul.

Standing up in my new form, I inspected myself. I had no ears, nose, eyes, or any other features—I was just pure light. Looking up at the figure I assumed was watching me, I asked, "So, are you going to stare, or are you going to help me out here?"

The eyes blinked all at once before I could say anything else. I heard the voice again: "I was observing how you would adjust to your new body. And I see that I was right; you're not shocked or even scared to look me in the eyes. You truly are my son."

If I had eyebrows, I would have raised them in confusion. "Your son? Did my mom or dad sell their firstborn son to a god or something?" I crossed my arms, intrigued by the thought of being a god's son.

"Well, that would be close, but no. You see, those 'parents' who raised you weren't your real parents. I guess you could call me your father, as I have no gender as a god. Your mother was a loyal servant of mine when I was a minor god. I was still young and traveled the galaxy, unable to create my domain. I went to another planet to start a cult. But when the god of your world found me, we fought, and I killed him—or her; it no longer matters. I reached the peak of my power and, over time, grew lonely. That's when I noticed a high priestess of my cult praying to save her mother from a sickness. She would have done anything. Then I appeared, and nine months later, you were born."

Listening to what my so-called father was saying, I struggled to wrap my head around it. "So what about my mother? If she never raised me, she must be dead, right?"

For a second, I could almost feel what must have been sadness. The atmosphere turned super cold for a moment before returning to normal. "Yes, she died giving birth to you. She knew the risks were fifty-fifty and never regretted having you, Kain."

"From how you sounded, you must have loved my mother." The darkness fell silent for a while, and I began to think I had touched upon a sensitive topic, even for a god.

"Uh, I'm sorry about that. Can you help me out here?" I waved my arms toward the darkness, trying to get his attention. At last, the voice spoke again. "Oh yeah, sorry, I zoned out there. But yes, you're a demigod—not quite a god like me, but in time, you will be able to do what I can."

The darkness shifted, taking on a human form similar to mine as I gazed around. I could now see the stars, endless and vibrant with every color. The figure that stood before me was a black humanoid with four red eyes. It walked closer and eventually hugged me. Returning the embrace, we broke apart and sat down on the ledge, staring out into space.

After a moment, it spoke again: "As you know, I have work to do. Just because I am a god doesn't mean I have all the free time in the world. Other beings like us conquer the endless vast of space. Some of us live in harmony, observing our universes and sometimes even throwing tournaments to see who has the better fighters. But it's not like the nonsense you see in anime; it's a free-for-all. I just sit back and watch. We have to go sometime—maybe even take down a few god baddies together! HA!" The dark figure elbowed Kain in the arm while laughing. But as quickly as the dark figure was happy it stopped and looked directly at me "Kain you have a bloodlust in you that I only see in the darkest of humans I'm not saying it's bad to be who you are and all that I won't stop you so that why I'm sending you off on an important mission, you being a Demi-God gives you perks both humans and God can't obtain there is reason Gods make mortals with their powers it set limits but having a child with a mortal is sorta like taboo amongst us but we will do it here and there the potential power that Demigods carry are far greater than even us gods. The only reason there aren't as many is that they were all killed by the High Court of Gods. They were so scared of anything being as powerful as them that they banned inbreeding with mortals". Standing you the dark figure waves its arms splitting stars in half and making a gateway through the gateway were piles of the bodies of men women and children. "These are all the demigod children that were killed even gods those who tried to protect their children died as well." "Then what are you going to do to me." Kain looked at the figures back " I'm sending you away you can't be here but there is something I want you to do for me for them." Grabbing onto my shoulder we looked directly at each other. "Live son and know that I will always be with you find Lilith." These are the words he said before throwing Kain off the ledge into a portal.

The portal closed just as fast as it was opened and three figures floated behind the dark figure

"You got rid of him quickly you must have known we were coming for him." said a huge green figure standing with its four arms crossed with four dragon-like heads.

"He broke the most taboo law of all now it is time for his sentencing." said another huge Pink figure with its hands on its hips adoring 6 wings that glowed an even brighter pink.

"He will be judged don't worry so are you coming with us nicely or do we have to break you like the others Magnus." said a human-sized dark blue god with black horns and a golden crown above his head.

As Magnus chucked then his chuckles turned into full-blown laughter turning around to see the god police.

"Well, I can't believe they sent children after me you won't find my boy that easily, and no I won't go easy!"

As Magnus changed his figure became more robust red markings appeared and turned into a monster space around began to shards a fight between gods was about to happen. "I'll show you why they call me the GOD OF SLAUGHTER ."

KAIN'S POV

"Live son and know that I will always be with you find Lilith." Before I could question what he meant he threw me off the ledge into a portal but it wasn't long until I hit what seemed to me grass. "I could barely feel it but still jeez way to ditch me" Standing up I could see a temple walking up to the temple I called to see if anyone was home.

"Hello is anyone here?" Sliding the door over I entered walking through the house it seemed to be vacant until I heard a noise behind me and saw a naked woman her hair was a deep purple and her eyes were the same color but slightly like a cat her body was a tanned color her body was Lean yet muscular which made a bulge on my glowing body.

"Ummm hello there I didn't mean to break into you're house no one was home and I just uh let myself in."

The woman who I assumed to be Lilith walks past me goes into a room and comes back out with a robe on with a pipe in her hand leaning against the wall she analyzed me looking me up and down and for a moment I felt like she was looking into my soul just like my father.

"So you must be his son, huh I would say you have his Essence all over you what's your name kid." Before I could say the name she put her finger against her pipe and purple flames flared and she puffed. "My name is Kain you must be Lilith and I right." I fan the smoke out of my face while looking at her face "Yeah I am come let's talk I know you have lots of questions." Walking down the hall Lilith's plump round ass waved in front of me we make it into a living room and we both sit on a couch. Puffing her pipe again she looks at me and starts talking " So any questions you got for me, Kain?" Thinking about what I wanna say next I've only had three on the top of my head.

"Yes, I only have three, who is my father two how do I get stronger and three what are my abilities and do I have anything more to know about my godhood."

Finishing her last puff Lilith makes the pipe disappear out of thin air "Your first question can come last but the other two I can answer. Now it's kinda complicated cause yes every God is the same and yes Demi-Gods are powerful but some can have the abilities of their own and some can inherit powers from their parent."

Holding up her middle and ring finger she answers both my questions "Two and three will get stronger over time and soon you're ability will kick in they will come to you naturally but if you are your father's son there is another way to get stronger but we'll have to wait and see come with me your training starts now."

Getting off the couch we end up in the back yard a gigantic feel that is two times the size of a stadium.

"Also turn you're Aura off kid it's annoying I know you're already stronger but no need to show off!" She yelled at me getting in my face for a second I could smell some kind of fragrance coming from her Quickly snapping out of it I answered her.

"How do I exactly turn this off my old man didn't give me any instructions on this." Scoffing she rolls her eyes and tells me what to do.

"Of course he didn't he was always one for showing not telling, ok one thing about Demi-gods is that we can somewhat shape shift our appearance just think about what you want you're body to be then that's what it may be hard at first so think of this has you're first lesson watch and learn." Before me once stood a beautiful woman now in front of me was a purple cat.

Looking down at the little creature I pet her head until I get scolded "IM NOT A REAL CAT YOU DUMBASS!" She turned back into a human and scowled at me "So are you going to or what".

Going onto a mat and concentrating on how I want my body to be I was always a huge fan of Broly so now to pay homage add his jewelry earrings. Next, I made my skin turn into a darker tone my muscles tight to a normal height of six feet adding a tail along with clothes adoring white and green tiger pattern leather.

After finishing what I wanted I concentrated and my body glowed brighter and brighter until I finally took the shape of my new body for some reason I felt a lot weaker I looked at Lilith to see her with her mouth open in pure shock I walked up to her and question what's wrong.

"Did I do it right or wrong or something Lilith?" as she stared at my body she quickly came out of her stopper she answered me "Yeah kid you did pretty good I'm proud of you not bad not bad at all." She bit her lips seductively "Anyways let's begin training you know how to throw a punch right."

Following her opposite I get in a boxing stance "I know a few things but no need to hold back on me." A smile creeps on my face as I feel my heart pounds deep in my chest and a fire ignites in me. Lilith just stands there not bothering to get in a fighting pose "Uh if you say so kid your funeral tho if you can hit me once we can move on to the next lesson ready…set….go-"

Not letting her finish I rush towards her leaving a cloud of dust in my wake she looked shocked but still dodged me. Throwing a flurry of punches and kicks it felt like my body was remembering how to fight until-

WACK WACK WACK

I stumbled back touching my nose I could see I was bleeding I've never actually been in a real fight besides the people I killed so to get punched was a wake-up call I'm not human anymore I'm something else something BETTER feeling a dark urge in my soul I charge at Lilith faster then last time I feel like I've gotten faster just from being hit and training.

LILITH'S POV

At first, I mistook the kid as Magnus by his sheer Arua alone he might have more of his father than any other Demigod I've met even me. He was able to change into a mortal body in under a few minutes it took me months to even get my Arua under control. Dodge the punches I could tell he had experienced but not enough for a real fight let's see what his reaction is to a threat.

WACK WACK WACK

Throwing three jabs to his face he stumbles back and touches his nose some blood drops from his and for a moment I thought I had gone too far until I saw dark malice coming from Kain he dashes towards me faster than last time almost watching my surprise but I was able to keep up it seems like he inherited a few traits from Magnus after all.

"That's more like it kid now you're getting somewhere let's see if you can handle me."

Charging toward him our fist clashed making the wind around us for a while it was a stalemate but I could tell he was getting stronger and stronger and I wasn't even going full force. A smile creeps on my face oh how I missed fighting my kind.

The training session went on until nightfall and Kain was huffing and puffing on the ground.

Walking over to him I hand him a water bottle "Here you earned it." He takes the water bottle and gulps it down "Thanks Lilith man that was fun is fighting gods also like that I felt like I could go on forever." Looking at the stars I decided to ignore that statement "It seems like you already have abilities." Saying that he quickly jumped in front of me asking what is it. "Well, one is I can say adaptability you kept up with me even though I was holding back my speed and no mere human could have seen us, and two you have the same ability as you're old man fighting spirit where whenever you get hit you become stronger, faster and more durable throughout you're fighting." Looking back at Kain he was smiling like an idiot then said something weird. "So like a Zenki from DBZ right." Looking at him I smack my forehead "uh sure kid whatever that means." Before I could walk about he asked me a question I didn't answer yet. "Hey Lilith you didn't tell me about my dad who is he?" Looking back at him I knew I had to answer now or later turning around I gave him a serious face seeing his expression also turning serious I told him the truth.

"You're father is THE GOD OF SLAUGHTER MAGNUS THE BLOOD GOD at the dawn of time your father was born from the first god to bleed and this is when gods were killing each other for their own domains life wasn't born yet just pure and utter chaos. But during a battle, he was wounded and retreated to a backwater galaxy eventually running to another god killing it then taking the domain for himself for a few thousand years he slept healing from his wounds then when he met you're mom he changed and I guess love does that even to gods then boom here you are and I bet he's now a prisoner but knowing he's tearing those gods apart." Looking at the boy's face he seemed a little down I walked over and put my hand on his shoulder. "He listen Kain you're father is the strongest god I know he won't go down without a fight trust me." Walking towards the house I heard a muffled voice turning to Kain I questioned him "What you say, kid?" Looking at him now his eyes were burning red and blood drew from his hands he was squeezing them hard "I will kill all the gods I swear it."

LOCATION FAR VACUUM OF SPACE

Scattered around space laid two glowing body parts Green and pink golden blood painted the stars and in the middle of it was a black figure his body was covered in scars wielding two glowing white swords looking around at his work we smiled in the distance a rainbow of glowing figures hurled towards him and in front of him stood a blue figure adorned with scars and holding a staff the same color as him "You know I've heard of you God Of Slaughter it is an honor to fight with you" "Cut the sappy shit kid I'm not doing this for the fight I'm doing it for my boy have you ever wanted to live just for another's life . Love another feel there skin on yours that's something you Gods don't understand at the end of bloodshed is nothing more but more bloodshed and when he finds out who I truly am and what happens to me you all will be sorry." The battle rages on one god fighting his kind for the sake of his son and the promise he made to his love.
