The owners of her rental home had left to start a business in the city centre. Thus, they were able to rent their home to her.

The property was quite clean. The owners had only brought their clothes with them and the space was well-furnished. Jiamu spent some time cleaning the place up before visiting the grocery store.

As she walked along the asphalt path, villagers who passed by her every so often would greet her.

"Little girl, you're not a local are you? What brings you to our village?" An old lady asked her.

"I just rented a home here. It sits right on the mountain," she responded politely.
