Capítulo 45: Giselle

Feeling the warmth of Giselle's hands around his arm, Lawrence had to praise the Enchanted Elysium for knowing how to please men.

Men always loved this kind of act from women, and he was no different.

Alas, his perception and intuition were simply too high for him to actually enjoy it when he knew Giselle was clearly unwilling. 

She might be able to conceal it flawlessly, but he was a commander who had seen and dealt with many types of people in the past. 

If he was just an ordinary man, then sure, he might have fallen into the enchanting mood and atmosphere, indulging himself in the woman without care. 

However, he wasn't, so instead of feeling gratified, he felt disgusted with himself. It was the very same feeling when he had met up with Agatha— all the guilt seemingly rushed toward him like a tidal wave. 

"We have arrived at table 30, young sir." Giselle's sweet voice snapped Lawrence out of his thought process.
