Though it had being months since Nectar's rebirth in Crepta, not much time had passed in the modern world, in fact it was only a month since Nectar's death.
There were many people at her wake, the kids she'd given to, the people she'd bailed out of jail and the innocents she represented. The death of a voice so loud its departure was odd and unimaginable, that was how the news described her.
Though Nectar didn't have many friends, there were many who thought of her that way. Though the time for mourning was almost over, that didn't stop Pollen Reba from going to the cemetery.
She sat next to the tombstone, leaning on it as she placed a bouquet of sunflowers in front of it. She laughed to herself, trying not to cry " You care about everyone but me. Did you even think about me before you let yourself die baby sis "?
Pollen swallowed back the lump in her throat " We still had a lot of things to do Nectar, I found that bucket list we wrote when you were ten ". Picking a sunflower, she smiled " You were always so dumb, yet you managed to protect everyone but yourself. Why couldn't you be selfish? Just a little bit ".
Pollen wiped her tears as she touched the name engraved in the stone " What am I supposed to live for without you? Whose gonna tell me I'm too old to wear a bikini? Who am I going to annoy and tease? You just left me here all by myself ".
Pollen let the tears fall now " Did you really have to say goodbye baby sis? What am I supposed to do now "? Pollen hugged the cold marble tombstone harder and cried silently like she'd been doing since she found out Nectar died.

Pollen wasn't the only one that was grieving alone. In an upscale villa on the other side of town, it seemed the house could feel its master pain and gave off the same dreary vibe.
In a room upstairs, slouched in a chair was a man with blonde hair and bloodshot eyes. He was surrounded by empty beer bottles and still had one in his hand.
The free one held an old picture of him and Nectar at one of her ice skating competitions in high school. Conrad could still remember her smell as she jumped on him.
" I can't believe we won KC! That was amazing ",1 she squealed with excitement. Conrad could remember the way he froze, the shock he felt when she did that. She'd usually been so cold and quiet he didn't find her friendly but her elder sister forced him to help her since they were in the same class.
" She smelt like snow and sunflowers, always did always will ". Her smile was so warm he realized his life would be boring without her. They'd stayed in touch over the years even if she refused to acknowledge his feelings for her.
" You didn't have to do that Nectar, did you ever think we'd miss you more when you left "? He knew she was going to take on this case and he'd insisted she didn't.
They'd fought over it but she was so bullheaded she wouldn't listen. Then they'd had this big argument a few days before her accident " I'm so stupid, why did the last thing I said to you have to be in an argument "?
He wanted to surprise her for the successful completion of the case and waited at the orphanage she was planning to go to that day " You never came "?
He'd been in a daze when he received the news that she was shot. He didn't even wanted to believe it but then he held her corpse. She didn't look dead to him, just asleep but she didn't wake up no matter what he did or how loud he yelled.
Her skin seemed paler, maybe a few bullet holes and a dried up blood stain near her lip but he refused to believe " You were always so strong Nectar. Sure you never realized someone would care when you left ".
Conrad took another swig of the beer and smiled " I love you Nectar, wish you would have let me tell you that ".

Two days later, it was reported on the news that Pollen Reba and Conrad Claym died a day before. Pollen allegedly died from grief and mental weakness as she held on to her sister's tombstone, tears could still be seen on it as well.
While Conrad died from grief and overdrinking while mourning the loss of his best friend, our beloved Nectar Reba. May their souls rest in eternal peace as they finally meet.
This chapter seems a little sad but don't worry. It'll be alright later. I'll try and make the other chapters a lot longer.
