Capítulo 13: Chapter 13 Taking a New Step
Kasey's POV
Our weekend vacation ended well at ngayon I'm already preparing myself para pumasok habang ang kuya ko inaayos na ang kanyang mga gamit dahil mamaya ng hapon ang alis nya pabalik sa Japan.
"Oni-chan!, papasok na ako!" sigaw ko
"Okay!" maikli nyang sagot.
Then I headed to our car, ever since kasi nung mga nangyari sa akin sa Japan si kuya, si lolo and even my dad insist na ihatid at kung maaari ay may sundo ako, kulang na nga lang body guard, buti na lang at di na natuloy kasi naman nakaka-ilang kaya, samantalang sa school lang naman ako all day.
Pagdating sa classroom naabutan ko sila Cherry and Denise na busy sa kanilang phone.
"Good morning!" bati ko sa kanila.
"Oh!, ikaw pala Kasey, good morning din" they greeted.
"what are you doing?" pag uusisa ko
"we're just looking our pictures nung bakasyon natin" Denise said
"ganun ba, patingin nga"
Then we look at it, and there I saw a different me, I can now smile brightly unlike before, my precious smile and laugh are back, and that was because of this two person beside me and also the boys dahil din sa kanila nao-overcome ko na ang trauma ko, specially to Nice who helped and saved me.
"Good morning!" bati ni Hanz as soon as makapasok sila ng classroom, thus we greet them too.
Few minutes after that we headed to the field to start the flag ceremony and then after that first period started.
Morning class went well, and we are now currently having our lunch.
"Kasey di ba mamaya ang alis ng kuya mo pabalik sa Japan?" tanong ni Claude
"ha?, oo, bakit mo natanong?"
"kung okay lang kasi sa inyo, we also want to come with you, para naman makapag pasalamat kami sa kuya mo, kahapon kasi di na kami nakapag pasalamat ng maayos"
"okay lang naman, so, mamaya after class sumabay na kayo sa akin papuntang airport"
"Thanks" then after that balik pagkain na uli kami.
"WAAAH!"
Dahil sa biglaang pag sigaw ni Cherry na-alarma tuloy kami.
"oh bakit?" nag aalalang tanong ni Kris
"Kasey!, Kasey!"she said while shaking me
"a-ano yun?" ano bang nangyayari dito?
"diba kuya mo to?"
Then she showed us the picture of my brother with a girl and I knew who is it, because the girl in the picture was me and that picture was taken two years ago.
"oo sya nga yan" straight na sagot ko.
"tell me ito ba ang girlfriend ng kuya mo, ang ganda nya ha" she said
"oo nga" pag sangayon ni Denise
"patingin kami" sabi ni Hanz
And this time ang boys naman ang natingin sa picture.
"pero parang kamuka mo to Kasey" James said.
"eh kasi po, ako yan" pag amin ko
"EH?!!" they said in chorus
"sshh!, guys ano ba hinaan nyo naman ang boses nyo" puna ni Nice.
"Ikaw talaga to? Di ka nagbibiro?" Vincent ask
"Cherry and Denise already knew it, I was a model before back in Japan, and that picture was one of my photos in magazines where I am featured" paliwanag ko.
"now that you said that I already remembered that you've told us about that before" Denise said.
"she's not only a model, she was also a commercial model, and you've been guested in variety shows before,right?" Nice suddenly said as he showed us some videos of me.
"EH?!, patingin nga?" they all said
"If you all want to watch it, it would probably took an hour until you've finished it all, am I right?" Nice said once again
"yes" pag sangayon ko
"ganon ba... Panoorin na lang natin yan sa inyo Kasey mamaya pagkahatid natin sa kuya mo, di ba guys" Cherry said cheerfully
"I think it's not a good idea" said Nice as he look at me
He must be thinking that it would be bad for me to reminisce those times because of my current condition and I appreciate that.
"Bakit naman?" Hanz ask with curiosity
"Let's all watch it at our house later, I'll show you all of it"
After I said that, I saw Nice look upset, is he that worried about me?, but I've decided and I've already thought about it. I shouldn't be afraid of what happened to me before and beside it may help me overcome my fear and trauma.
I ask lolo if we still had the copies of those TV guesting and commercial I did and as expected we do have it, Lolo was surprised and worried when I ask about it but he calmed down when I explained the details of it so in the end he lend it me.
Class was over so we headed straight to airport wherein lolo and kuya is.
"good afternoon po" bati nila kay lolo at kuya
"kuya" that's all I can say.
I don't know what to say to him, ngayon lang nag sink in nang tuluyan sa utak ko na aalis na nga talaga si kuya na babalik na nga sya sa Japan.
"ano yun little sister?, may problema ka ba?, tell me?" he said worriedly
I just shook my head as a sign of 'no'.
"halika nga dito payakap nga si kuya, mamimiss kita" he said as he hug me tightly.
"mamimiss din kita oni-chan" I said as I hug him back
And without a farther ado my tears started to fall, I'm gonna miss my older brother, my protector and my best friend.
Matatagalan pa bago namin sya makasama uli, he's a busy person, he has a lot of schedules to do.
"sshh, wag ka ng umiyak, nakikita ka ng mga kaibigan mo oh"
"kuya Kei, maraming salamat po, at mag iingat ka po sa pag balik mo sa Japan" they said in chorus.
"wag po kayong mag alala di po namin pababayaan si Kasey, di ba guys?" Cherry said
"opo" the boys said.
After all the change of good bye's Kei-nichan finally go inside because he's flight will be heading after a few minutes. Thus, we headed home after that, and as I promised we watched all the video clips of my TV guesting and video clips from my photo shoots,they also ate their dinner at our house and as what Nice said we took more than an hour to finished watching all of it to be exact it took four hours.
"thank you po sa masarap na hapunan ,mauna na po kami" Denise said politely
"walang anuman yun, you're all welcome here anytime, right Kasey?" lolo said
"opo"
"sige po mauna na po kami" said Vincent
"mag iingat kayo"
"good night" they said in chorus before they finally leave.
We insisted that our driver will take them home but they insist that they can go home on their own so we let them be.
"you have a good friends here Kasey, they were such a nice kids" lolo said as we entered our house
"you think so lolo"
"yes, go ahead now and sleep it's been a long day for the both of us"
"but lolo, didn't oni-chan promise that he will call us when he get home, isn't about time that he must be at home?"
"now that you've said that, he must have be, but, he must be too tired so he can't call us, so understand him, okay, go now and take a rest"
"hai"
That's all I can say, lolo has a point, Kei-onichan must be too tired so he can't call us besides as far as I know he has an scheduled shooting tomorrow so he must be resting right now, he's schedule was full anyway.
