With the dying laugher, Onyx slackened on her chair as she glanced at the young man beside her. Perhaps she was being too overwhelmed lately with the way things are falling into their favor apparently, to laugh freely like this. Everything since Young Master Kai became their ring leader.

Oynx stared at him unwaveringly feeling her heart swelling with emotions of joy whereas her pride trying to contain them. What's with this change of heart? She wondered, maybe, because Kai never completely ignored her as lower. Sometimes a little compansion shown does wonder in one's life. Staring at Kai's handsome side-profile Onyx drew a deep breath as she doesn't know why but this bothers her a little when Kai doesn't spare a look at her unless she has something of his interest to report to him whereas other men died just to be in her presence.
