Chapter fifty nine: Balm. 

Max felt the connection with Alexander a few more minutes after he left Jamie by the garden.

"I can see everything you see. I can hear everything you hear, Max. It's like we are the same" Alexander spoke to his wolf.

"It's been an honor running with you, old friend. But I have to get to the dead zone and be with our pack" 

Max took off in a run towards the dead zone. 

"It's been indeed an honor, my wolf" Alexander could feel himself beginning to slip away but he had one question "How did you meet my Queen?"

It was highly unlikely that Janessa was roaming the forest at night...well, Alexander wouldn't put it pass her.

"We've met before when...."

Alexander faded out before Max could complete his sentence.

"Alexander! Alexander!" Max felt alone again. He took off and in mere minutes he was in the dead zone surrounded by his pack.
