Everyone went silent and I just sipped my tea.
What I didn't expect was for the dragon to show himself in front of the guys.
"Well, hello there." I greeted the dragon, who is sitting on the Crown Prince's lap.
"H-hello." he said with a smile on his lips, and he covered his lovely face with gold wings. He is indeed the king of all dragons. The Crown Prince and his secretary appear in a state of shock.
"What's the matter?" I asked them both.
"Zeth smiled for the first time." the Crown Prince said while caressing the dragon's head, and Kelvhan just nodded.
"Well, isn't it great to see him smile?" I said and smiled.
"He rarely doesn't smile in front of me, that's why I'm shocked to see him smile again." The Crown Prince retorted and smiled.
"That's because lately, you look suspicious when we're together." the dragon said arrogantly.
"So you named him Zeth?" I asked.
"Yes, I always wanted a pet named Zeth." he said, continuing to caress Zeth.
"Come here, Zeth." I said, and everyone was silent. The Crown Prince let go of Zeth's body, and he slowly came toward me.
"Hhmm..." I analyze his body to see if there's something with him, but thankfully, the Crown Prince is caring for him.
"You're good." I said, and he went back to the Crown Prince's lap.
"It's my first time seeing a real dragon." the young Duke said, and Killian nodded.
"Dragons are a powerful creature that can wipe the entire continent within weeks, and they are also very loved by Alexio."I pulled a gold quill out of my bag, and it was floating towards the dragon. The golden feather wrapped itself around the dragon's small legs.
"Huh?" The dragon was confused when he saw the golden feather vanish.
"Catch." I threw a golden feather compass on the Crown Prince.
"This is?" He's completely puzzled when the golden feather compass points towards the dragon.
"It is a compass, if ever Zeth is taken away or lost, you will easily find him with the help of this compass. If he is too far away, a golden string will appear on this compass, leading you to his destination." I flicked my fingers and a golden string appeared on the golden compass.
"Hmph! Humans are incapable of kidnapping me as they are too weak, except them." He pointed his small paw to the four people.
"I highly doubt that." I said with a serious tone and sipped my tea.
"You surely are underestimating me right now." He glared at me and the mood inside the room became more intense.
"I didn't say humans will try to abduct you. Someone who is more sinister than humans." I put my cup down and looked at him seriously.
"My lord, by the word someone, you mean..." The Crown Prince hesitated to speak.
"Yes, the Dark Continent, which you humans called Disas Continent." They couldn't even utter a word and just froze, trying to process all the information that I said.
"That's why you should be more careful when you are interacting with other creatures in the forest." I warned him.
"They are my playmates, and I have known them even before I hatched." He said.
"It's better to be safe than sorry, and you don't have any idea how cruel and dangerous dark creatures are."
"Why are you so worried about creatures that don't even exist on this continent?" He retorted, but I just shook my head.
"Someone has been raising dark creatures inside this continent." I could hear Kelvhan gasping while the others were shocked.
"I get it, I get it! I will obey your words, hmph!" He became invisible again as we sensed someone was coming. Just like Zeth, I made myself invincible.
"Your highness, it's me." I heard someone's voice outside the tent, looks like it came from a middle-aged man.
"Come in." The Crown Prince's voice was cold, and the others became more serious and majestic.
"Yes." A middle-aged nobleman went in, and it looked like he was a part of the King's anti-faction.
"I greet the Crown Prince." He kneeled in front of the Crown Prince, but I could feel the bitterness of his voice when he greeted the Crown Prince..
"You may rise."
"Yes." He stood up and slowly wandered his eyes.
"Is there anything you want to say or report, Count Gaiallard."
Count Beroldus Druet Gaiallard is well known for smuggling slaves and illegal drugs. Not only that, he has a huge impact on the black market, making him one of the richest nobles in the Lustina Kingdom. He is also one of the nobles who support Marquess Alain Raulyn Zalaethon. "Then I hope you have a good rest, your highness." He said goodbye and headed off. I took off the invisibility when he was gone, and Kelvhan filled my cup with tea. The dragon, Zeth also took of his invisibility and settled into the Crown Prince's lap.
"Tsk... bastard." Killian mumbled and angrily picked up a cookie and ate it.
"Calm yourself down, Killian." the Young Duke said, neatly sipping his tea. After I put my teacup down, I flicked my fingers.
"Now, let's go." I stood from my seat and stretched my arms.
"Where are we going, my lord?" The Young Duke asked.
"Auvraneian Kingdom."
